So a friend and I started a new game where we take song lyrics, and put them through various languages on Google Translate, before translating them back to English and beholding the results.

Example: Stereophonics - Bartender And The Thief

ORIGINAL:
The bartender and the thief are lovers
Steal what they need like sisters and brothers
Met in a church a night to remember
Robbing the graves of bodies dismembered

POST-TRANSLATE:
The bartender and the thief are lovers,
Steal what they need like sisters brothers and sisters.
Gathered at a church a night to remember
Robbing the graves of bodies mutilated


Example: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop

Before Google Translate happened:
"I wear your granddad's clothes
I look incredible
I'm in this big a** coat
From that thrift shop down the road"

After Google Translate happened:
"I use your grandfather's clothing
I look great
I'm in this big furry a**
From the thrift store down the street"


Example: My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade

Original:
