Sony servers down again?

Can't connect to remote racing from gt.com or with the widget.. been down for an hour now. Anyone else having problems?

I got on the GT website and I can run remote races from there, but I could only do this after about 20 minutes of the site telling me GT5 MY HOME doesn't exist. Either they are patching the servers or taking them offline, either way, poor job of not giving notice.

i'm from Canada as well, and I can't login onto the GT website.

I'm guessing if you've logged in before the maintenance started, you'll stay logged in.

I had the widget working this morning (Canada) Logged out to add a person and check for new Seasonals and when I tried again the widget says it can't find the playstation store and whatnot a bunch of other servers.

Pity the widget worked wonders and I hope that Polyphony make an iphone app that can run these races.

That and train better Bobs, my Bobs are so dumb.

the website seems to work. I just hate having to pick people each time. A nice pick random friends button would make it much easier.

Don't know if the two are connected, I can only speculate that they are, but the first Black Ops DLC just came out for PS3. PSN servers are taking on more than they can handle right now with so many people downloading (from what I hear) a large DLC Map Pack.

I've been running races from my android phone all day with no issues. I hope I don't lose my credits because of this. Saving for the Audi R8 LMS team PlayStation racecar in my main account UCD and still about 1.5 mil short.

I was running remote races this morning. I got two in and completed, then I ran a third, finished the race and got a black screen.

Apparently the server went down during that race, as I quit GT5, went back in and got the "Cannot connect" message. 👎

To add to this, I went to the GT website (I'm at work right now), and the "interrupted" race from this morning is up as running now. The clock starts running from about the 10 minute point of the race, while there is no movement shown for any of the cars. This happens each time I load up my "Current" race (As my PS3 is off right now, there should be no current race going on).



Hopefully this isn't tying up any of the BOB's who were involved in that race.
