Yep. It appears that those who hate freedom of speech have grown tired of trying to do their thing legitimately. Instead, they'll slip their "copyright" stuff into a highly secretive international trade agreement.

I'm not sure of its current status. I'm not sure about the link I'm providing. All I'm doing is building this thread because no one else seems to be talking about this menace to freedom.

Stay aware!

Slightly offtopic but I think you will like to read it; http://www.theguardian.com/world/interactive/2013/nov/01/snowden-nsa-files-surveillance-revelations-decoded

Ontopic; I'm not sure if we need to take this seriously. The only reason I can think of why they would censor the internet is to collect data on us easier. I'm glad the EU wants better privacy rules and surprised how the US acted. They said if we would sharpen our privacy rules, it would cost US companies more money. Ehh? So? We have to let our privacy go so US companies can make more money out of our information?

In the same time, my gov hands their collected data of our citizens over to the NSA, for a while now. So does the EU Gov really wants to sharpen privacy rules or is it all a play? Because Spain is also doing this, and many more...
