My father actualy got me this for my birthday for 300 bucks and first I had to drop the transmission and for 130 bucks at Mr.Transmission they gave us a rebuilt transmission because the truck wouldn't go into 5th or reverse because one of the syncro's were messed. then i found out that it had been spray painted and i also latter on found out that the guy doesn't know how to apply bondo or weld because all the bondo was chipping off and the patches he had welded on were so warped it took about half a gallon of bondo just on on passenger door. i have a 5.0L 88 mustang motor but I'm gunna go buy a old 5.0L mustang and swap the motor , transmission, and the rear end. I also have plans to drop it about 4 inches aswell. i also made the grill out of chrome mesh and galvenised angle iron.

I used to have a second gen Ranger like that. Mine was a '91 with less than 60k on the odo. And the Magnum 500 wheels were a nice touch...

I miss that old truck. I called her Betty Ford.

Bondo is a bad word...metalwork and minimal premium bodyfiller is the way to go.

Man sick lil ranger and the rims look awesome

and I would not have to use so much bodyfiller except for the fact that almost all the panels were done. so I'm just going to have to suck it up and use body filer because both lower doors would have to be replaced both sides of the box were replaced and both front fenders were replaced and for 300 bucks it's not worth it.
