So, I couldn't get this white ZR-1?

It said something about a March 12th (I assume) expiration date?

well zr1 is american muscle and not supercar so whatever colour it is it will never be a supercar and muscle do kinda suck

^Well a lot of people call the ZR1 a super car. I think Top Gear called it a super car too.

And the ZR1 looks best in the special metallic gray or blue imo.

well then it was in the top gear challenge where they went to america and each had to pick a MUSCLE CAR. it diguises itself as a supercar by making it lower down and not as big as mustangs and dodges etc. it also makes itself more costly than mustangs and dodges etc. because a musle car is a big saloon size car, american most likely, with a enormous engine giving out lots of horse power and poor fuel efficiency, two door and usually 2 seats but in some cases 4, an affordable price and loud noises.
thats why GM went bankrupt because there was too many musle cars and that is why americans are trying so hard too make fuel efficient cars because there was too many musle cars.
you call it a supercar because you are american, are fond of them, have been taught all cars with big engines are supercars or sports cars, or own one thinking its the fastest thing in the world, slightly bent.
but there is one good thing about them their big amount of excess noise they sound good

So because Top Gear says it's a muscle car it's a muscle car? When the hell did they become the head of car classifications. Plus GM actually didn't have anything other than the Corvette in the performance category for a long time, only recently did the Camaro make a come back.

Edit: Also, does that mean that the Saleen S7 isn't a Super Car?

Im not American and still call the Corvette a supercar. lol
Its a fast, high performance sportscar which can go around tracks fast, thats why its a supercar. A muscle car is something like a Mustang, Camaro, Charger, Challenger...(note, i dont say these are slow, but the whole characteristic is different) the Corvette always was a sportscar, just like the Shelby Cobra and, like Justin said, the Saleen S7.

the idea of a muscle car was a small car with a big engine. Like the Shelby Cobra is an very small car with a big ol' V8. Same thing with the Challenger, Mustang, GTO and Camaro. The Charger was the larger version of the muscle car range (with the original GTO and Chevelle) but, the they usually had the biggest engines. the Chevy Chevelle is still the most powerful car, Chevy's ever made in terms of HP AND Torque. The original Charger is the second the third most powerful car Dodge has ever made (eclipsed only by the recent Challenger and Viper)

a super car is generally defined as a car that can reach over 200mph. and in between the Muscle Car and Supercar is the sports car, which, traditionally, has a top speed of around 180+

I refuse to be drawn into this rediculous arguement which is way off topic i might add so why don't yall stfu and just give me the white corvette eh? ;)

^As in real life, in GT Mobile, or both? Cause if it's both that sucks.

Edit: Nevermind...I'll probably buy one when I'm 40 or something.

so yous would say a ROLLS ROYCE AND MAYBACH ARE SUPERCARS

Well...technically they are...although, I think the current definition of a supercar would be that it has to break 210mph.

The old definition was set by the Jaguar XJ220 in 1992 when it broke the record of the time at 222mph. But know, even the stock Vipers and Corvettes can hit at least 205mph without breaking a sweat. So.... who really knows.

It's not a special order, or preorder. It says the initial production, or print of the game will come packaged with "product code" you can use at Playstation store to obtain a key to download the White ZR1.

It also notes that this car/color is available only through this offer, and the same offer applies to copies included with the "Gran Turismo Racing Pack".

Keep in mind that, obviously, it's intended for their Japanese consumers. I have no idea this particular offer, or information applies to any other regions. :)

P.S. On the "Supercar" argument, there are many definitions of a supercar. Ultimately, I'm not sure any car under a hundred, two hundred grand can be considered a true supercar. NSX, ZR1, GT-R, are they a supercar? If you say so. But probably not. That's my opinion on that. :D

The original Japanese page says "through December". There is no mention of month of March. ;)

I own a 2006 Carrera S and I don't consider it a supercar even though I paid supercar dollars for it. Other Porsche owners don't consider it a supercar either. The 911 Turbo comes close. I would like to consider it a supercar. However the true definition of a supercar is suspect. Most serious car enthusiasts and owners hold that title to a much higher standard. Do some Google research and check forums like rennteam.com. Corvette's are not supercars.

some people know how to tell the difference between muscle and supercars.
true supercars are like ferrari, lamborghini, bugatti, mclaren, some porshe like carrera GT, 911 GT3 RS, pagani.

^And the Saleen S7.

The term supercar is so vague now, that people are starting to use the term Hyper-car for a new standard.
