Special Stage Routes in GT5

So I was thinking, we have real tracks and then we have GT Original tracks. But then there's the Special Stage Routes, 5 and 11. In all the past games they have been just another GT Original track, with nothing really "Special" about them. Assuming at least one of them (hopefully both) will be in GT5, what do think PD should do to make the SSR's truly special?

I was thinking aout something along the lines of only using them for big championships, such as the GTWC and GT All-Stars. Or make them for special races such as tarmac rallies (anyone remember the Superspecial Stage Route 5 rally race from GT3?), especially considering rallies are made up of stages. I'm just thinking out loud here. What are your thoughts?

:-)

No there was Clubman stage R5 too, which was a night track. It is just a name for the tracks, they arn't supposed to be physically special, they're just tracks on and around Japanese highways.

-> They were special because they were inspired from the Japanese Wangan Line (aka. highway). And these roads are completely original. Plus I think they were special is because it was a race track within a city (blended in), not a closed city street like a Tokyo R246. And all of them are one of GT's first night tracks.

Special Stage tracks
- Clubman Stage Route R5
- Special Stage Route 5
- Special Stage Route 11 (GT1 version)
- Special Stage Route 11 (GT3 version)

:)

Being that they are inspired from the Wangan expressway, GT5 should feature a new Special Stage Route that isn't a full race track but a stretch of expressway, namely the C and K routes.

^ But PD would name it [Osaka/Hiroshima/Tokyo] Wangan Skyline, as a real-life city track. And the Special Stages are race-tracks within the city, since these tracks are tighter and shorter compared to the Wangan.
