The trailer has blown everybody away especially the huge base of Grand Theft Auto fans but looking it closely, did Rockstar want to tease us with the title’s eventual release date?
Depending on how much credibility we put in easter eggs, we could say that the GTA 5 release date has been hinted by a small tip in the debut trailer of Grand Theft Auto V.
Although it might be wrong, based on the “hint” alone, the date could be May 24, 2012, as you can see on the screenshot below, the sign saying “For Sale 2405.”
Those in the States might not have caught this as a date because they do them the other way round to what the British do, as the Grand Theft Auto series developed by Rockstar North, a UK company.
So there you go, with not much of details we can get from GTA 5, this info is good enough to make your day as a devoted fan to the franchise.
Apparently at gtaforums.com someone posted a "hint" about GTA V, where it said "1102" and "204". The 1102 could have ment the day the trailer was shown, November 2nd, and the 204 can mean 204 days after novemvber 2nd, which makes 24th May 2012.
2405 is seen in this trailer on the sidewalk, and there is also a man bashing down a sign where it says "for sale" that you probably know of.
EDIT: I also find this, this video was post on YouTube 31 Oct, and it's the sound track for the trailer and maybe for main theme music. It's named 1102main2405.mp3, the trailer came out on the 2 Nov and in the trailer that other people plus me posted above is the 2405 for the release date.
Makes me think...
So, a lot of the speculation is pointing towards a May 24 release date. 2405 is 24 of may in the British method, and is conveniently 204 days after the trailer.
Rockstar Games are a British company which would make that date believable but the 24th of May 2012 is a Thursday and most games seems to release on a Tuesday in the US and a Friday in EU (But GT5 was a rare exception being released on a Wednesday in both EU and US... so anything can happen)

Yes, there is far too many instances of this happening in the video for it to just be a coincidence.
There is the 2405 "for sale", the 1102 204 you mentioned. And the song... And also in the golf scene the board showing the par and everything has numbers that equal 24 05.
Plus its 6 months from now which sounds about right.
I'm not seeing the connection between 2405 and 204.2405 is 24 of may in the British method, and is conveniently 204 days after the trailer.
I didn't notice the golf thing. Could you grab us an image?
