Do any of you follow this series? This is just one of my favorite racing events. It's a short, and sweet racing event that is one of the other great little races attached to the big Sebring 12 hour racing event.

This year, the Cadillac CTS-V will dominate, but the Saleen SR, and Audi RS6 will make a great run for the trophy.

There's only 1 Saleen SR if I remember correctly. The Corvette Z06s and Viper Competition Coupes and 911 Cups are doing much better then the single Saleen.

Those CTS's were sick, I can't believe GM actually made a car that is decent looking, the matrix help for me anyway...

World Challenge is the most interesting road racing series running in North America right now, IMO. The crap tires, diversity of the makes, low cost of entry and mad-dash 50 min sprint format makes it a total hoot to watch.

I am concerned about the evolution of the series, however. The amount of factory support is going to run all the privateers out unless they make a factory deal. While this raises the quality of the entire field, I wonder if in 3-4 years there is nothing but full-blown factory cars in GT.

I love watching the Speed World Challenge.

I suppose Audi will have to work hard at it to get those CTSs. Superb job they did.
Heck, even the Touring Car class is great to watch.

I saw the Touring Car race also, but it wasn't as fun as this race. I'll keep watching it, though, to see what happens.
