Speedster's Gallery // July-October

I really like 3, 4 en 5. đź‘Ť The light fall and composition in those is just amazing... What time of day were those shot at?

Thanks Blitz, those particular shots were taken about 17:45 on the day before our daylight savings kicked in. So possibly the last sunset shot we'll see for awhile.

Hey mate, let the studio shots coming. I really like them đź‘Ť

As for comments, you know we are all too lazy to log in to give a tumps up ;)

Thanks man, I always appreciate the comments though! I can never be perfect and always welcome constructive criticism. Glad you like them though. :)

ooooooooooo that last set is smashing. I have always been a sucker for use of lines, and this set makes me giggly like a college girl in a plaid skirt. The rythm in your backgrounds is awesome!

Cheers Cano, really appreciate the comment. Hopefully I'll have more shots which please you from across the rest of my season!

Cheers Giles.

Some more shots from some more motorsport (as you can guess my season is going to be very long this year!).

C&C is definitely welcome, there's also a bigger set on my Facebook page, if your interested.

2 is simply epic!!

5 great motive

11 looks a tad to dark, but it could be my monitor.

Nice shots

Thanks, yeah #11 I'm a bit unsure of. I wanted it to be seem quite dark, but I'm thinking I probably overdid it a bit. Appreciate the comment though!

Nice set again. I really like number 1 and 10. I also like how your panning shots are always different from one another. Lots of variety going on there in how the shots are done. Awesome. I really need to get out to a car event again. If the weather permits (Its really bad at the moment) I'll probably be heading to Zandvoort for the Dutch Supercar Challenge on the 6th of May. :) Finger crossed.

Thanks guys, think I need to get my monitor looked at as I've had a couple of comments on how dark #11 looked.

Yes, another event. Just a few for now there's more up on l'endurance.

Im really feeling shot number 9. Those lines lead your eyes through the shot and the cars in the shot are sublime. đź‘Ť

Great pix once again Adam đź‘Ť

Nice to see the Aston and Lancia out in the Historic Group C's.

Cheers guys! Must admit it was great fun shooting the Group C's, highly recommend anyone trying to catch the series at some point this year. I do believe they've got another round at the Silverstone Classic planned and then a couple abroad...it's definitely worth it though!

Had been looking forward to this event for quite some time, the weather did slightly dampen my spirit (quite literally in some cases).

I did, however, have a great time and even briefly chatted to our very own Famine and daan!

More here.

I had not seen the previous set; from there, #4!!!! how LOW was that shutter speed? 1/15th?

Form the last set, #8 is an awesome composition, you REALLY told the whole race story in that picture. All others are very good, but that one tells me WAY more than all the other combined.

Well, that and #9.

Haha, thanks Cano! #4 was taken at about 1/20th, so not ridiculously slow - but it was a fast car. ;)

#8 was a shot that I definitely pictured in my head hours before the race event started, shows what prior planning can do I suppose. I certainly appreciate the comments on a set that I didn't think was particularly up to scratch!

Number 2 and 8  I think Cano already said enough about number 8 :) Can't say anything more myself. Number 2 is great as well... Looks like there is a lot of heat haze present in that shot of the pits. đź‘Ť

Wow, nice shots through and through the whole page.

Enormously liked the old driver in all white đź‘Ť

Great shots

Cheers bud, strangely it rained all weekend so all the heat haze is from the engine! A very hot car.

Great shots

Cheers, the old driver (from the Donington Historic set, I assume) isn't just any old driver! He's Sir Stirling Moss, decided to go with a slightly unconventional image instead of the obvious in this case. Thanks for the compliments though!

I did not know, recogized him as I only saw picture of him in the younger days. That makes the pic even awesomer đź‘Ť

My first visit to Brands Hatch, and boy was it worth it! Love the circuit, really hope my shots have done it justice. It did help that the British GT race was one of the best races I've ever seen...was nice to see Jann get a win too!

More can be seen at l'endurance. I'd appreciate it if you could take a look at the full set! There's also more F3 images on my FB page and Flickr as per usual.

Anyway, C&C is welcome as per usual .

°6 : he looks in the zone.

My favorite is the third, closely followed by 6 +4, though the watermark on 3 is a tad too big ;)

Awesome shots đź‘Ť

:0 yes

the first shot is so money. I love the composition of that one. I also love your now traditional trough-the-trees shots. And in #2, wtf!!! shutter speed on that? It looks like light speed!

DUDE...

Numbers 2, 5 and 8.... Classic! đź‘Ť Really nice stuff and cool looking track as well... Lots of elevation changes from what I can see in those shots.

Some fantastic photography here! Totally inspiring stuff for my upcoming trip to Le Mans Classic next week. Love the photo of the driver through the window!
