haha mikey, nice 👍 i'll see what mine does. I'm still off work tomorrow, my week off has come to an end almost too quickly again. So I'll get a chance to run that old tune we put on them ages ago. So far I've been playing Rise of the Tomb Raider most of the week. It's really pretty good. You can see my review of it here on gtplanet if you guys have an xbox and fancy trying it.

Soo Mikey as promised. My old tune ran a really poor time. It was a reverse flip high top speed setting tune too. It ran 13:449. The best time I could run on this original tune was 13:418. Then I tweak this gearbox and the best I could get was 13:320 out of it. Heres the pics :D

Soo then I ran some more slider tunes. Each time making progress past your time here



and then I made it past Dannys time here



At this point I was on a 85 gearbox slider tune. I decided to use a slider + flip combo tune and the best I could achieve was a

I tweaked the gears again and matched Stealthhhs time here

I think I could get it into the 13:18x's maybe. I'm pretty sure it could go faster. But I'll leave that for another day. I'm going to play some Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Nice job ! Will have to give it another go with a new trans. I'm on a traditional flip but not with the shortest gearbox. I haven't played with suspension, just have a cookie cutter rwd setup at the moment. Will report back when done. :)

Edit not sure of my original time when I first tuned it, I played around with it running Jez a month or so ago before the speed test but i ran low 13.3's when I started yesterday. I guess a long time ago I was running close to what yours did.

Thanks Mikey. I used a traditonal RWD spring setup, min max suspension worked best, 1 10 10 1. No toe or camber. Max Max Ride height. I used a time launch and try to catch the revs under 4000rpm, like 3.500 ish or couple hundre over I don't remember, and shift just before 4000rpm from 1st to 2nd. from 2nd to 3rd shift around 4000rpm or just over by a couple hundred rpms. It's a fun car. Short first and long 2nd and 3rd.

EDIT: I just realized the 1st gear drops to around 2.000rpm where the car makes max torque. Th car makes max power at 3.700. So I was actually shifting a bit over 3.700 as I said maybe 3.850-3.950 ish. Hope this helps. :)

Yeah. I launched around 4k, shifted 1-2 @4k and 2-3 @4.3k or so, its what worked with best my gearing, but obviously I need to regear it now. Same suspension, think I have -1.00 front toe though, I'll try it at 0.

Sorry Mikey some wrong information in my last post edit. Just inspecting my replay data with a time of 13:195. I launched at 3.100 rpm 1-2 and you can hear a slight struggle with the tires squealing to get traction at these revs, anywhere else and its not a good launch, then revs drop to 1.950 rpm. Then the revs raise again and I shift 4.000 rpm. Then from 2-3 I hit 4.100 rpm. With the car fully on the line I'm at 5.100 rpm and hitting 89 mph.

Ouch, yeah.. My transmission was way too long. It's well worth it to sacrifice the top end on this thing. 2900 -3000 rpm seems to my be magic launch point.

EDIT: No worries Mikey. I changed my mind. Decided to play more with GT6 instead of rise of the tomb raider. I went back to a higher slider tune with no flip and reran it a couple of times. And ran a faster time. :) So we know it can do mid .18x's, can it do .17x's I wonder.

Nice I got a 10.540 but didn't take a picture. I was trying to match Danny's time of 10.525 but my ps3 keeps freezing , just trying to retune the accord I had to restart my ps3 three times. I got frustrated and shut it off.
