You Fergus, Jocke and Kingdom seem to have the most content so far. I was just using the photo stream and seeing all you guy's awesome photos. I want to see the other guys get in on it! :D

Tonight is fast approaching.

Remember to prepare your car

Remember to prepare your PS3

Delete your Cache delete any internet browser cookies.
Restart your PS3.

Turn off for a moment your modem and router

Around 8:00 PM EST mazda3pro will open the room.

Do some warm up laps. Get use to the new sounds(update 1.14).

At 8:15 PM EST Sharp the Qualifying button will be pushed.

There are several drivers who want to join.

BR1MANN AMG Mercedes 190E Evolution is one of them

He is FIRST if there's a drop out.

For anyone else who wants to join.

Your choses are:

Vauxhall Calibra
Opel Calibra
Alfa Romeo
AMG Mercedes 190 Evolution

Let us know before 8:15 if you can't make it.


The Race

Qualifying will be 10 minutes alone starting at the last corner.

Your tires will be cold. So use every lap and make the last one count.

Don't rush turn 1
If you notice an incident is about to unfold. Use the various run off areas to avoid it.
Be flexible and patient.
The track is narrow with little room to pass.
If you are out front, defend your position.
However if can't defend, its better to concede the position and avoid a collision.
Pit Strategy:

Hopefully you have one. Stick with it.

TIP
Keep an eye on pit row as you travel down the back straight away.
If you see 4-6 cars on pit row or fixing to enter, it maybe advisable to do another lap.
You don't want to get caught in a traffic jam.


Lastly. Keep an eye on whose around you.
It is possible that you fall back and could be lapped.

Let the leaders go by.
Do it wisely and professionally.

Have fun and if we all finish in one piece

We should gather for a quick after race photo op ;)

are they going to be outside of the room until a certain time and then they can try to enter ?
may they enter and then as we fill up if someone who's committed isn't in the room then the last alternate to enter must step out of the room ?

what is the process for "bumping" someone....

I guess what Im saying is - I don't want 5 alternates to be in the room and prevent someone thats been committed since day one from entering the room... If the room is going to open at 8 and we're running at 8:15 - that's a smallish window should someone have loggin issues or hit traffic or something and be on time but just not be able to get in because the room is full of alternates...
 
Well I'm hoping nothing happens, yet at the same time. How long do you guys want to wait?
An extra 5 minutes? An extra 10 minutes.

If someone has a delay issue. Speak up as soon as possible.

The PS3 has a new 4.66 firmware update that needs to be installed. GT6 has a new 1.14 update.

Hopefully everyone has done that.

mazda should get a PSN message from anyone whose running late.


We'll try our best.

For alternates. Check post 3933 for the remaining cars.

Mallet or tarkus1: If for some reason. Do you want to be the race announcer?


EDIT at 3:40 PM EST. We now have 16 drivers and no alternates.

maybe someone can just keep an eye on the forum and if by some chance someone is running late or cant get in... they can post a message or something...

last night I tried loggin on to create a room myself and my system just froze....

hopefully no frustration tonight....
.....until the flag drops that is

Might be home early if I have a test today. For some reason, I have a reputation with all of my teachers for being able to finish a large exam in a half-hour with a really good grade.
Relevant because I can get home and practice sooner if I have a test today
