:D

Yeah to change BB to the rear end which i did all the time in training because i didnt know and didn't tested it and you can say that should also not allowed in a stock race. But that depends on driving style. Body ridgity does not. Tryed it on an a lot of cars now (evo 10 to formula car) on tsukuba an it makes even a lot more difference on road cars and if you have other tyres i guess the harder the springs are the less diference it makes.

I did never thought it would make the cars faster but just make the body live longer. Now i neee to do it with all cars. Poor credits:boggled:

But i dont wanted to whine with that post dont get me wrong. I spun 3 times thats why i was so far back the field. I just wanted to ask if it was intentional or you just can not turn it off in the settings? When you usecar filter for e.g does this change anything?

Just to be sure i also tested overhaul engine an it does nothing even on the car with the most miles on it.:D

Didn't know Improve Body Rigidity was allowed... Only Brake Balance was adjusted on my car (and a red paint job on the rims...lol :)

Now that we know PD does allow that Body Rigidity Improvement, perhaps we can do more races with the same car at other tracks in the future? I do love the no-fuss-just-drive nature of these non-tuned races :)

Haven't been racing with you much Arveena, but of the few ones I did I can tell you are obviously mighty quick and gifted at just feel the car and be quick right off the bat - and I think everyone here knows that. Racing with drivers of your caliber is a great learning experience and makes it that much more exciting for the group.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone! And a Happy New Year if we don't race before then. Cheers!

So far it still a gray area. Thats why PD won't include it in the 'stock' settings.
Some drivers can't live with out the frame rigidty and some can.
To me, if some one buys it, they need to learn to live with it. Don't complain if everyone is passing you.

As far as the engine rebuild. My understanding is if the engine is not worn out. Don't rebuild it.
There is a light that will come on when the engine is worn out.

There's an entire thread dedicated to this subject in the tunning section of GT6.

It's not what you drive that makes you a winner. It's how you drive it.
Accept the challenge or accept last place.

Im not a fan of frame ridgability. To me i like car without, but it just fits my driving style better. I will go pick a car and revisit the 2 setups vs each other again, has me thinking???

Thanks to all that made the r-u fast events tonight. It was a bit of a technical meltdown dealing with the servers but we got both races in! Sorry for all the delays re-setting room 3 times. Hope everyone was happy and had fun in the end! I posted all the results on r-u fast events thread if u guys want to check them out. I also would like to say sim put on a freaking show at the re-run megane trophy race(holy smokes!)

:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Thanks for setting that up! I had fun until I pulled the n00b move of exiting instead of continuing when I had to pause mid-race. :banghead:

But like I said... watching you and Arveena battle for first was awesome. Glad to hear the Megane race was a success too!

Oh tiger changed the racecalendar for next year.
I wanted that f3 race so bad. But i guess the fans dont wanted to see that. Gt 300 is also nice. Still waiting for a nordschleife event. Did i miss one?

The F3 race is not quite cancelled. I was debating about using it at Madrid. Not enough pit boxes.
Brands Hatch is too much for the car. The stock transmission would wind out.
So until I can figure out a suitable circuit. Hang in there.

The Nordschleife. Whew. That ones tough for a Big Event. For a Casual Night? Yeah,
If tarkus1 doesn't host the next Casual Night. I'll put it in.

How many of you guys have Aryton Senna's white F3 car?

Stock body rigidity + new suspension = tuning
Stock body rigidity + improved body rigidity = even more tuning.

The suspension tuning you have running on your car is never going to work with an improved body rigidity, you need to tune that suspension to the new standards and not just suspension, what about the transmission and drivetrain! I bet it has an impact even on the downforce settings of a car. So if you don't have the time or the will to tune your car again just don't get the body rigidity improvement.
For all I know, every car Manufacturer or race team is always looking to improve their cars body rigidity. So I guess it's just a matter of time to tune your car all over again.

Well spoken Tjger.
"you have to learn to live with it"
Just like I have to live with trying to drive with a pad instead of a wheel and I know I'm not the only one, and yet you guys never hear complaints about not being fair.

Ma
Hey guys, online maintence tomorrow night.

Could we finally have the Course Maker?
Maybe they'll bring "La Carrera Panamericana" to GT6, or is it to much to ask this Christmas? Or maybe the Baja 1000, or how about Paris Dakar? Please (PD) Santa.
EDIT: How about just an open world driving simulator just to go on a drive whenever you don't feel like racing? Or just bring back Bspec.

Update too small and too short a window for anything good... My guess is some generous seasonal events....

Poopoo on course maker on PS3 is my bet
And never a proper livery editor... With our creativity Id love to see what we could come up with!!!!!

Sad

I'd rather have 20cars and a livery editor and half the tracks....

We'll see what we get for christmas from PD...

I bet they "don't celebrate"
