Take a piece of wood and attach it to the base and then make the wood long ebough to go back and buttt up against the wall/floorboard - perhaps put something on it so it doesn't scuff the baseboard... That way when you press on the pedals they will push up against the wall... Just get your measurements right...
I assume there is a way to screw those pedals down into something??
That's what I would recommend
Maybe 1/2 inch MDF board from Home Depot $8 for a 2ft by 4ft sheet
Theb put a 2x4 on the side where the baseboard is Perhaps not even necessary
Wrap the 2/4 in an old sock or something so it doesn't scratch

Some of you guys have experience with diy rigs or the normal racing seats.
Which are the good ones and the bad one.
My kitchentable sucks for endurance racing it hurts my back so bad^^
Mazdas seat looks perfekt doesnt take tooo much space and looks comftortable

You are talking about the ts300 as expensive but you want to buy a playseat for 200+
I dont get it^^
Think is the playseats i think a far to expensive for what they are and the take away sooo much space.
Where did you get your seed mazda?

I think I"ll just go buy a cheap playseat and call it a rig in the next week

there's no cheap playseat.... I will suggest you get a stand if you are on budget....

but stand is not good for endurance....

well... but you won't finish the whole endurance race anyway cos you might quite half way thru....

anyway.... do you have space for a race rig...???

this is what I am using right now:

gtr_racing_simulator_gta_left_front.jpg

it costs about $300 + S&H WITH the shifter-mount AND the seat slider.

best deal out there and the build is sturdy.

I do believe I have a bit of space in my room for a rig, but I might have to change my layout a bit or use it in the spare room.

OB...
brother...
don't over think it my man...
I made this $0.00 set up work...

While I was building my rig (WITH ZERO WOODWORKING KNOWLEDGE) I made this stupid stand outta scrap
here is a buddy racing
sitting in my racing seat (that would eventually go in the rig) - BUT HERE IT'S SITTING ON THE FLOOR...
and he's having a hell of a time!!
the pedals I wound up doing what I told you to - I mounted them to some wood that pressed up against that entertainment center thing so they wouldn't move....

but my 2cents is
spend your money on the wheel and pedals...
the rig is only to PUT good shtt on...

no offense to everyone here - but I probably have a nicer set up and equipment than a lot in SAC... but that doesn't mean DICKK on Thursday nights!!! I'm bottom of the barrel!!! so don't worry about getting the best... just get what works for you... and if you're fast you can make fast work on a controller, a non ffb wheel, or the most expensive set up out of the group....

don't over think it...
and from someone that built my sht from ground up... that was rewarding for me and that's a cheap way (only major investment is time) to get something that works for you!!!

but here is a picture of how CHEAP you can go and still have a good time!!!!

I don't think they do my man...
but I'm not 100% sure....

I looked into seeing if they worked with the Thrustmaster and they did not as I would have preferred that wheel.
but to me an ok wheel with proper pedals was more important.
so I think they are kinda ment for the Fanatec wheels exclusively... but don't take my word...

I LOVE the pedals... if I did things all over again I would start with these pedals.

The seat is a HUMAN RACING SEAT
I got it from http://www.sigmatimeattack.com/
its OK I would say...
nothing fancy... Its comfy enough - but just foam and material...

I was drawn to it as it came with adjustable frame rails that many had commented on as performing very good. and because many people would be playing my rig - I wanted the seat adjustable and heard good things about the way it adjusts....
it works/adjusts better than my car

If anyone is interested, I'm going to attempt to hosts OB's normal STTR this evening as he will be in disarray over which wheel/seat combo to invest his life savings in.. :sly:

Based off any the GT3 spec cars for our Daytona event, but at 650PP. OB says RH tires, but since I'm in charge tonight  I'll probably change it to RS... :boggled:

Room should open soon and will be practicing at the Daytona Road course until the racing starts at 8est/5pst.

Hope to see some of you there.

You SAC fellows know how to rub it in. I'll be there just to see how you do and to learn the wheel more.

Also, whoever wins at Sierra tonight gets to choose next week's theme.

I just checked it you cannot get fantec pedals working for the g27.
Thats such a ******** the pedals of the g27 suck ass.
But that means i have more money for a seat and a rig.
Because the fantec wheels are too expensive for me and i tried the ts300 at GTA an the pedals are also utter garbage
