Heads up fella's, I will be changing the 2j race to a practice race for the Tokyo main event. So it was planned for sun night it will stay the same. With the main event fast approaching this should be good practice for some thinking of last min changes in cars! Room should open around 7-730 then start at 8 est. hope to c everyone!

Added note to my pre mature post, this is only if tiger is ok with this, his event and I'm not trying to make anyone mad?

I would say go for it. If we do the full 50 laps than the race would called official.
If we run a shorter version and include Senna's car at Monte Carlo. That would be even better.

oh... why deleted it??

I was having a mild heart attack over something I thought was happening.... but actually happened last year. I actually, legitimately was upset!! lol It wasn't relevant anyway. :embarrassed: Watching the actual qualifying now, when it works.

:gtpflag:Sunday night fun practice room opens 7-7:30pm est, we start around 8pm.

Ok gang since  tiger has gave the go ahead we will try this....
Tokyo race one everyone will have a half hr of tuning and adjusting to achieve top time, then we race 10 laps. I want everyone to At least try a simulated qualifying run Just before we race to set the grid!
Tokyo race 2 will be reverse grid order for ten laps, the hope is to give everyone an idea of traffic.
These 2 races go back to back so try and be there for 8pm est start. If anyone needs more time let me know, maybe we could slide stuff around?
Then monte carlo time, bring out ur senna car! We will run some fun little races with them as well!
All these races r for fun and to give us a taste of tigers magic that he puts together! So basicly lets just get together and have some fun!!!:cheers:

Hey Tiger, I was just wondering what your rule on pit exit will be for the race.Should we follow the orange line until it ends, or stay in that lane all the way through turn 1 or something? mphile and I were practicing and the issue came up where I was exiting the pits and he was coming full bore down the straight to where we probably would have crashed into each other in turn 1. So I just wanted to know how you wanted to regulate it since it'll more than likely happen in the race.

so watching the bathurst 12 hour race the first caution was a car hitting a kangaroo and then another kangaroo jumped out of nowhere not too long ago. I just started thinking the amount of races around bathurst we do i have never seen or had to avoid a kangaroo something that should be in GT7 or in a later update

Cue @tjger to come on here now to tell us how they're going to be included in Project Cars?

Edit:
There should be a license test: Kangaroo Slalom 1, along the Conrod Straight.

Edit 2:
The PS4 could probably even improve on this?

On my way to my parents house to hook my dads ps3 up. Got him a wheel, chair ,and a desk, this should be fun, haha

That's awesome. I lost my Dad 5 years ago. He would of been so hard core into this. He would immediately go buy the best equipment out there. His philosophy was that if someone was to beat him, it would not be because they had better stuff. We used to race RC cars competitively across the south. My son and I always played racing games together(still do), and one day playing Dirt 2, I just thought playing with a wheel would be fun. Went and bought a DFGT. WOW, Hooked after my first lap. I started looking for other racing games and discovered GT5. After discovering GT5, I had to get a better wheel. I found a great deal on Craig's list for a Playseat and G27 for $350. It was in Mississippi and had to travel 300 miles to get it, but that's another story. When GT 6 came out, I wanted to upgrade again. Went and bought a T500rs. Anyway, I think it's great that you are trying to get your Dad into this racing sim world.
