I have 3 cars I've been testing with and guess what? None are fast:banghead::banghead::banghead: and buying a 4th tonight I think . The one thing I noticed is my main practice car is beat to crap but works the best, has a ton of miles on it with about 6 oil changes. I've also fixed chassy a time or 2. So I might over haul that pig and paint her race colors so she runs as bad as my race car

how's your back Mphile..??? :)

Can someone tell me what times you guys are running.
I've bee testing a bit with different cars. And i am getting times from low 2:16 to high 2:17.
I guess i wont be driving the BMW. It's my fastest car but it eats the front tires so much more than the ones in the back. So it gets super weird to drive after a few laps.
But its good to be back. Had some hard times the last few weeks.

I do believe we must drive the same car we ran at Daytona, as for times eh team is in the 215's with BMW. Most of us r in 216-218 range, but the ford has shown a 214!

You're at a pretty decent pace, that's what most guys are getting in the settled down race sort of mode. The flat out fastest is a 2:14.7XX but that seems to be something of a one off. My tires wear fairly evenly, not sure what your setup looks like but if there's camber in it take it out and most to all toe. Your springs should be somewhere in the same vicinity for numbers but the dampers are quite far apart, rears being the higher numbers. Anti roll bars should be between the same number and 2 numbers apart with the rear being the lower number. Then your diff should be fairly low in numbers across the board. Downforce should be uber low, none in the back, but have a tasteful amount in the front.

Here's hoping you stay with Beemer, I'd like to have a teammate out there.

lap times are ranging from 2:15 to 2:17.

The tires wear setting for this race is "normal" therefore make sure you have this setting when doing testing.

it's your first time running thus it's not surprised you are running @ 2:16.xxx, which is quite fast for initial test.

pretty sure you can get into 2:15.low after couple more runs and setup.

Hi Guys,
As some of you are already aware, we are being given the chance to compete as a team in a large worldwide series of endurance races. The details can be found in the following link so check it out if you're interested.

I think with the group we have here, we could assemble quite a team should the times work out for us. This is an open invitation to all of you guys although we will most likely be doing a type of bracket tournament locally to represent SAC with the best drivers we can. That pretty much eliminates me right away.:(
Anyway, check out the link and feel free to voice any opinions and ideas openly to the full SAC team.

thanks, i just learn something today...

I do believe the "true aliens" are restricted to SLS and Z4. :D

note: i am only an "honorable alien" thus I am excluded... :embarrassed:

I'm pretty sure after this race that honourable title is being stripped and true is getting slapped in it's place haha. We all terraform at some point or another and I think Patrick will be the next after you if the outright speed he has stays after Spa.

So what you guys think?
If we could vote for 4 drivers to represent Spinning Arrows Club who would you choose?

Don't be taking that as gospel buddy, the BMW is a weird mistress to play with. Just when you think it's going just right... BAM! it's not haha. Most of the other cars don't do that but this one.. She keeps me interested is what I'll say :sly:;)

the bimmer is fast, and you are right, sometimes i don't know what does it want to do, it could understeer in one lap then overtsteer at the same spot on the next lap...

it's more like a german hot model: drive you crazy.
