Boy do I sure have lots of catching up to do. Anyway, I've had some other people say the same thing but they said if they kept trying a few times it paid off so don't give up hope if it happens right away tomorrow. I will also have the stars at 3 which I believe is standard. That has helped some with some people.

Worked on my tune offline the last hour or so, I think I've got it handling much better than I did for the last one, much less front end pushing + more stable. Did a 1:21 flat on RS tires

Ride height: 100/90
Spring Rate: 12.4/10.9
Dampers (comp.):6/8
Dampers (ext.):8/8
ARB: 5/5
Camb. + Toe @ 0
Brake Balance 6/8

Trans: 320 k/h
Diff. : 5/15/7
Power: 97.4% with computer + sports exhaust (oil change is worn out)

Aero: 20
Ballast: 163kg @ 50%

Missed the last couple races or so, did you guys end up doing the laguna seca stock car race? or is it still to come? Either way I have a stock car to race in now.

well hearing that you have your car tuned in much better than the last time is a bit scary as you pretty much tore me a new one in the last race.

^Ah young lad. When you arrived at the track did you get your parking lot instructions in German or English?
Yes Apricot Valley has German citizens living there. However to keep the 'International' in the airport title the folks needed to know english.

Now if you want, I'll translate the race for you.

I might, depends on if the wheel paint drys in time.
Finally convinced the paint store owner I wasn't going to paint
S.A.C. RULES all over the town. Just my wheels.
Black is faster than all other colors

Well tonight is the Thursday Night Battle of the Shelby GT500's. Race starts @ 9PM on Apricot Hill. 40 laps, pit stop required, tire compound change required, 570pp 700HP 1720kg. See you at the track.

The intent (to the best of my knowledge) is to start our normal racenight at 8 like every week and get some warm up and casual runs in. The track will most likely be A. Hill but that could be a track time decision. This is usually the time when people are still filtering in. Then ROUGHLY 8:30 depending on who's there or how many are there, we can start the real A. Hill "EVENT" (add really cool theatrical music here so it sounds more dramatic).
By the way Stock, Light blue is easily the fastest color. The only problem is that color has a tough time staying on the track!!!!!

9:00PM??? I thought it was 8:00 PM EST. The BOSS said 8:30ish was the ish start of the Main Event.
I think you have been sniffing too much paint. I just painted my wheels.
What Tarkus said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Sorry for the question ..but.. Lol. Do I have to have a Shelby? Or is it restricted only by fr,pp,HP,and weight? Sorry just want to make sure I got it to gather, instead of waiting til later to ask.

No,you need to bring your own Shelby, one WILL NOT be provided. Follow the guidelines in post #2 as far as restrictions. Get an oil change, change paint , wheels etc. to taste. Send Tarkus1 a FR on PSN and stop by the room at 8PM E.S.T. for some warm ups before the race and enjoy yourself. If you have the cash, bring all three sets of racing tires. RH,RM,RS to give you the most options with tire wear.

Yes, a Shelby GT 500.

ADDED: @Paul Grey that's normal. Of course with all my chit-chat going on post 2 gets lost.
Just glad someone is staying on the thread to catch any late comers.

Is anyone at the track? JJG12345 was talking about it. I may try a quick trial run in roughly 20 minutes.
flipp_jj has a practice room open now.6:50PM E.S.T.

Ok, fellas.
That was a good time out (being booted off and being hit while on 2 wheels in Tokyo - who was that? I wonder how it looked from behind - notwithstanding).
I'll get some good cars (I wasn't ready for the other races) and especially a Nascar, so I won't kill the fun for Daytona. And a headset. Typing is a pain in the ass.

So, yes, I'm from Brazil (although I have visited Pittsburgh and actually enjoyed it), the US flag was a oversight due to being drunk and with 2 buddies when I played GT6 for the first time when I got it for myself for Xmas.
I've gotten plenty of flak for it in some local rooms, one of the reasons why I started searching for a better group to race with.

Since this was my first time racing online with people what weren't out to bump me off the road (they thought I was the only foreigner, and since I had no headset...), I say it was a great amount of fun and I'll be back next Thursday for sure.

I'll send people FR in order to be able to see them online and whatnot and catch you all next Thursday at the latest.

Take it easy,
Flip

Message me on PSN I"ll give you a good nascar setup

Would anyone be interested in running Sunday nights as well as our normal Thursdays? I love this series so not to take away, just to add to what we already enjoy. I'll be running it if I see interest.

Hey guys, great night of racing. JJG12345 came in and ripped it up at Apricot Hill. We had some new people come in and enjoy (I hope) our little band of hooligans. 2 weeks from now will be Spa Francorchamps for the next installment of The Spinning Arrows Club. Next Thursday will be back to casual races. Check this thread to see the updated PP's that we will be running.See you all soon.
Here's a little picture of Stockerace's command central.

I'm going to be away this weekend, so I'll do it next week at some point.
I haven't done the NASCAR races in career mode yet, so it will be interesting to see what they can do.
