I understand they have to monitor the forum thus the thread won't get flooded by double or even hexa-post, but in general we are keeping this thread very clean....

and those double-post are clearly not-intended, since you won't get paid if you post the most number in here....

the admin have a job to do, but if they are always keep things very tight like this... up to a point making us feel we are being watched and guarded..... I think we will lose the interest of being in this platform...

Mr.Admin, I know you have a job to do, but as long as the posts are clean and positive, I hope you can give a bit tolerance to us. thank you... :)

I agree with your sentiment but it's so easy to stay within the rules that I don't get why we would even try to stretch them? I look around a lot of this site & it beats the pants off any other forum. That comes from it being monitored & from having certain rules.
Nobody has told us that we need to change the way we are or what we are all about. All we've been told to do is queue our replies into 1 post. We can manage that, cos we're awesome.

So last night I sent out a mass PSN message about an event I'm going to put on for the 24th of May. So any of you that aren't planning to be fall out of your chair drunk, check your inbox or read this post here.

The event is all for fun and not for points or anything, the plan is to go to Indianapolis and somewhat replicate Indycar and its Indy Lights series with a few little twists. There will be 2 races, the first of which will be 35 laps in the Red Bull Jr. which you can tune to your heart's content with no limitations. This race will have a qualifier of 10 minutes, but not the usual kind, it will be started from the pit and everyone will race together. Racing Hard tires are allowed for this race and no higher.

The second race will be 70 laps in the Formula Gran Turismo which will have 725 hp and will weigh 744 kg. The race grid for this race will be set using the results from the previous race, but there will be a random position inversion to shake things up. I'll pick 3 numbers out of a hat/container that will have a number for every position on the grid except for 1st but including no inversion at all. Of those 3 numbers I will then dump the other up to 13 numbers out and pick again only once for the actual inversion. This race will allow Racing Medium tires, but you must change compounds during the race (and from the test I did last night you'll want to in order to make it to the finish).

Both races will have Tire wear on normal, damage will be on light, and real slipstream. Something different for this event, because it is a big speedway race, cautions will take place for any wreck involving 3 or more cars and will go back under the green flag once the light damage fixes itself on the cars that had to catch up to the back of the pack.

Hope you guys like the sound of it and I'll see most of you Thursday.

This certainly does sound awesome and wish I could participate. Kinda sucks being older and having what seems like too too many responsibilities. It just takes away from PS3 time in general. there's so many things being offered from you guys and from others around the world such as the new kart races and I just can't make it happen unfortunately.

Anyway, I would like to get a quick headcount of who will be racing in the Tour Of Europe on the 28th. Please reply to this thread or send me a PM to let me know, but either way, I'll keep track of your name and make sure you have a spot for the race. I'll post the first 16 here as soon as it fills up (if it does) so we don't have people practicing for no reason.

And if you're not going to race on the 28th, please check out @GTracerEHTeam and what he has planned for the 24th.
