Yeah, I see them all spinning at once. :lol:
I have the map switched on but zoomed right out so that I see the whole circuit all at once. I am the all-seeing eye. :odd:
So when I said "Nope", it wasn't "No I didn't see your arrow". It was "No, it can't be the case that I didn't see your arrow".

I like the idea of making casual race selection a bit more randomised or unpredictable as people have described.

Hopefully if it happens, there'll still be some other tricks thrown in.
For example if one or two of the races each night have something specific about them. Say, "Ferrari vs Lambo", "US muscle" or "Midfield Mayhem".
It may be the case that you decide to tell us these specifics in advance. It may be that you keep some of them a surprise. Who knows? :)

Maybe we could somehow take turns at choosing a specific race to go in between the more random selections? Like one us per week gets to choose something.

Of course, boss, these are just some thoughts for our Lord and Master to consider. :bowdown:

I'll be happy to get in whatever car I'm told to as long as it means I get to have some fun with you guys.

ya.. maybe one or two theme-race and then random for the rest would be fun too!!! 👍👍

Hmmm, very good idea. I do like the thought of each of you (if you so feel free to do it) picking a couple of the races but the majority of the night is random decided on by either the winner (me) or loser (which is almost always me also for some reason).
As an FYI, we are still trying to decide the next F1 race date. I had to go ahead and get sick then take a vacation which throws things into disarray. Having said that, I will NOT be able to host for the next 3 weeks. I know that's a while but I will be back on the 24th. I'll also still be checking the posts a bit while I'm away so I won't be completely out of touch.


Edit: Here's another idea thrown on top of the last one from @alcheng :

Each week we pick a winner for the night. That one person will have the rights to decide the following week "set" races. The kicker is that although this is a racing club, we're really all here to have fun. if we're not having fun then it's pointless. So the winner of the night is NOT necessarily determined by how many wins a person has. It could really be anything such as who drank the most, who had the best crashes, who really had the most FUN, etc. Of course this is a racing club so the winner MAY still be decided on by winning the most races. All I'm saying is that if one person wins 5 out of 10 races but someone else typed or said something that almost made me pee my pants a couple of times, then my vote may swing in his direction.

Any thoughts?

sounds good too, only to determine the "winner" is kinda tricky, cos we all win difference races, we all get drunk, we all weaving in someone's mirror, we all weaving in someone's windshield, and we all spinning in the map! :lol::lol:

on top of Tarkus1 idea... and combine with mine.... I have this following:

SAC management decide one theme-race for the causal, post on the agenda, and that race could pops-up at anytime, decided by the host.

The first driver who join the room on Thursday choose the pp and drive-train of the first race and VFT.

Then the winner of the 1st race choose the specs (pp and drive-train, type of car) for the 2nd race and VFT.

I am pretty sure there is a race we have BS and slip-stream-strong and damage off, and winner of that race can decide the 2nd theme-race of the following week.

therefore, SAC will decide one theme-race, and the winner of the crazy BS race decide the 2nd one.

the winner of race 5-6 laps race pick the specs for the following race.


how's that sound??
 
Whatever you guys decide it's ok but It will be a Daihatsu casual night for me and next Thursday will be Honda and then the following week Mazda and then Mitsubishi and next.... you get the Idea, I just want to find new gems, get every car in the game before GT7 comes out! Polyphony is making changes on the seasonal events and giving away cars for prices, and maybe it means ..........I don't know what it means but it reminds me of when I was playing GT5 and then Boom! GT6 was here! But don't pay any attention to this rants its just me, writing out loud.

I forgot. It's actually FatWad. Fatty Pastry is my Xbox 360 profile, and I live in the UK, so it'll be a problem for me logging on- I might have fallen asleep.
