For GT500, you'll be kinda competitive if your laptime is in the 1:56 range.

however, test the cars carefully, because I notice they all have a slightly different driving style, ie one turn in earlier than the other or one is more tail happy than the other.

don't test too many cars in one session/night.

Two cars per session including tuning is pretty much enough for a night.

I assume your in Honda running in the 1:56 since im not even in the ballpark with the SC430 or GTR

Will be running a practice room in the SAC community lobby from 9ish pm to 1130ish pm east coast time tonight

I'm going with a tentative HSV.

EDIT: Hey suckers!!! Oops, I mean, gentlemen. The casual night agenda is now posted. With the exception of the first couple of races, I've kept it the same as last week since the server issues prevented us getting past 3 races.

Also as a side note, we are planning on opening the room up to the public tomorrow night. We used to do this every so often but haven't done it in quite a while. So we may have some new cool people to race with but at the same time we may encounter some real "stinkers". We'll do our best to weed out the guys that simply don't want to follow the rules.

good guess buddy

In fact, I've already tested all 5 contenders and did some tune with them.

HSV was one of the very first one who got tested and I say it's a very nice car to drive around the track, laptime is also decent and has potential.

GTR on the other hand... you feel good with the car cause it's like a monster-in-control. it feels like the car is always wanting to get crazy but still listen to the driver meanwhile.

SC430..... mmmmm..... what should I say.... it's quiet... it's calm.... it's like.... James Bond.

Supra... it's fast, it's exciting, it looks and feel tough... get to a point Tarkus1 might move aside if he spots it in his mirror... it's like a King Kong

NSX.... it's like a talented kid, it can be crazily fast, it could also screw you up badly. You gotta to be a smart driver to get on top of it.

that's my verdict so far... thanks for reading.... and choose wisely...:lol::lol:

You just HAD to use me as an example, didn't you?!?!?!?
That's it!!!!! NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!!! NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!

Working, I just got home myself about 10 minutes ago. Regular nonsensical service shall resume within the hour
Yeah, something needs to be done about this whole 8 hour work day. It gets old after a while and is severely hampering my game time.

EDIT:
Awesome night of racing last night fellas. It was good to have some new people too so i think I'll do that more often.
Now we just have to figure out which planet Squatch is from. Certainly not one anywhere in our galaxy.

had a blast last night!!

again, thanks for hosting the room Tarkus1, it was definitely nice to meet some new faces and they were clean drivers, which is always a "+1"!!!

Definitely was a good time even though I spent most of the night watching tail lights.
I did end up sending out messages to some new guys too.

Also as a reminder. Next Thursday is Thanksgiving so there will NOT be an officially sanctioned SAC race. The races will continue the following week for the main event. This does not mean that you guys can't still get together and race next Thursday though. I just wouldn't be able to make it and someone else would need to take my spot in the back of the pack.

It was nice to make it back again! I second the thanks to Tarkus for hosting, always a good time.

Happy Thanksgiving, hope to see you all in a couple weeks.
UH OH, another alien has entered the ranks of the Spinning Arrows.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
