American street car challenge

550pp Street cars only - no prototypes, etc. Must be a real street capable of hauling groceries, taking kids to soccer practice as well as the usual weekend trips to Home Depot.

Thats sounds like my '03 PT Crusser that I drive lol

Sign me up! I'll have fun and embarrasse my self by competing with my PT Loser! :ouch:

Or Maybe I'll use the car I used the last time we had the "World Tour USA" 👍

Any thoughts on the Dirty "any car" race?
I think I laughed the most with that race and would love to do it again BUT we must limit the car selection. I guess it won't really be an "any car" race but still close. My Tomahawk had too much of an advantage.

I think we can it's a good idea and instead of "any car" we can set it up as Dirty Any-One-Make

that way we are at least traveling at the same speed.

i think it needs to be more towards a street car only style dirty race at Indy because of then all the cars would have to brake going into the corners, at daytona probably just dropping the tomahawk or just lowering the pp down to 660 so it pulls all the fast cars out. I was able to get up to 225-230 in my rocket car however had to brake going into every corner so no way i could stay up with the race cars, if we did that race at daytona i could of probably stayed up with the race cars

I remember I was using the Peugeot VGT with 699pp, I do have to brake for the corners too, going through the corners at around 200-205mph and max-speed at around 220, really have no idea why did you fall so much behind :scared:

The idea of the Dirty Any Car is mainly a test on "will we have the same kind of fun if we drive something different than NASCAR?"

And it turns out we ARE having at least (if not more) the same level of fun as driving the NASCAR.

Thus, in the future, we can have Dirty-One-Make, same we can apply to what we do with the BR-Z at Midfield.

One choice we can try is the VGT vehicles, since many of us should have a good collections of VGT, we can pick a particular model to use in a one-make race. Should be fun!!

A Dirty race with VGT might work out well. Or even a race with a limited amount of cars that are all going to be very similar. An example might be doing Daytona/Indy Dirty race with GT500 cars and no base or stealth, etc. This way since we're running full speed they should all be matched pretty well. Plus having full BS should keep the field very very even.

Maybe we can have a one-make VGT event in the future.

Also, I'm pretty sure there's couple VGT are very very similar on pp and hp that we can have a race event on those too. 👍

same thing in my mind almost VGT are almost like race cars without as much down force. the normal car i was driving i was topping out at 210 on the straights with boost but had no slipstream which the few times i got it i was up near 230 but threw the turns i was about 180 which normal cars would probably take those turns at maybe even less then that

no surprise on that since the lesser downforce on street car (especially on that Rocket you used basically there's no downforce ) although you can catch up on the straightaway but the lost of cornering speed will just destroy your race completely... :scared:

done any test on the American Street Car???

Murray Christmas boys :lol::cheers:
