Good news!We meet lot of new friends tinight
Perhaps then, it could be a good time to think about what the new people see when they first come here to the thread?
Some people will arrive after we tell them to come & look for us here if they've found us in a public lobby. Others will be people who haven't raced with us yet but are browsing the net looking for a club.
@tarkus1 We know you're very busy & I don't mean to criticise, merely suggest.
Here I go suggesting anyway:
Maybe there should always be a date included with every agenda that gets posted? If tarkus hasn't been available to update post #2 on a particular week, we sometimes have an agenda posted by Mazda elsewhere in the thread. This might really confuse new people who aren't familiar with us & just adding the date to the forthcoming agenda in post #2 might clear that up.
The main event in post #2 is still listed as an upcoming event even though it happened quite some time ago. I'm just nitpicking on that one I suppose. There are dates written out for it so maybe it's all pretty clear.
The links to the tracks are still wrong, which perhaps doesn't matter now that the event is over. Someone might decide to click though & find nothing.
I don't know what you think about all the "BLANK" & "DELETED" posts in the early pages. If you want them tidied up we could ask a moderator to remove them, explaining that we know it's against the rules to do that to your posts (it renders them SPAM) but that we have no control over it & would they mind helping to clear it up?
Remember page 1 is the first thing people see when they join us, even if we never look at it anymore.

Once again, thanks to the management & the boss as always for the effort that goes into everything.
Feel free to ignore all of this or point out if it's annoying (I won't be offended).
As I said, it's only suggestions.

Alas, I didn't make it to race last night. Such a slacker. Hopefully soon though, as always.

I enjoyed last night started off very slow
even had a knucklehead drive backwards in the first race
but it ended up a great night:tup:👍👍. Up to about 9 or 10 drivers at some points during the night and the return of SQUATCH . possibly only 1 disconnect over the course of 4 hours which was really good. I sent messages to all the racers who completed a race and an invite to one who jumped in once we had finished.
Mazda and Tarkus I'll send you a list of people I message since I told them to add you 2. You should also listen to mallet.
Everyone enjoy their weekend and Alex stop watching or playing tennis

Glad to see it worked out though and I'll check online tonight to see if there's these new guys waiting for the following week.
Also, @S_Bridge , very good points. I don't know about what the moderators would or wold not do but I have thought about that. I should contact them. Can't hurt. Next time I'm on (at home) I'll take off the old main event post. I did leave it there for a reason but for the life of me can't recall what it was. Couldn't have been important I guess.

I can have a chat with you if you want, we can do PM's to keep this page more clear & race related. I think they would be ok about doing something to help clear up the first few pages if we explain it properly.
It's not a moot point because the goal wouldn't be to hide from the staff, it would just be to make the thread more readable for newcomers.

If you have issue with him personally that's one thing.
If it needed reporting to staff, that's another thng.
Bringing it up now when he's long gone & we're talking about clearing up old messes ready to present ourselves to new people is just doing the opposite of what we're talking about doing?
Is personal catharsis the point of this club? Or is it to get together & have fun racing?
Hopefully that's rhetorical.

Aha! That's why you and this other dude were sitting at the start line! I saw you when i entered the last lap! I've had that happen to me too, it's really annoying...even had a knucklehead drive backwards in the first race

just a heads up, I won't be able to race on this Thursday either, last Thursday I didn't get home until like 10:30pm cos having 3 errands to run on that night.... this week, I won't be home on that night....
