Lively here, isn't it? ;)

Anyway, Taymyr now 100% so that's all the base game done and all maps from Kola to Maine unlocked with the exception of Amur, Don and Tennessee plus the new one. Waiting on warmer weather here before completing the Kola missions

Focusing on the trials now until the warmer weather rolls around. Lovely as the Kola and Imandra music is, it really adds to the sense of cold winds :)

I'm really looking forward to starting SR, I've got 2 maps of MR to finish, (taking my time amongst playing other games). I find MR to be so unique and relaxing, I'm glad there's more to come.

Oh, there's a lot to do and yet to come in SR I'm at almost 500 hours and have only completed the base game plus explored four of the DLC regions :) I'm going to be getting MR soon as I didn't bother at the time due to no photo mode - I know it still hasn't got that but like you say, they are relaxing games.

These are games that I didn't know I wanted to play. Think I got MR for free on games with gold, didn't like it at first but went back and played through the tutorial again, this time concentrating on all the tasks and what the game was trying to teach me. Then onto the main game and I was hooked, bought the DLC for pennies. The struggle is real yet the change of pace from the traditional racing games is so satisfying :)

I'm sure you've all done this already but it was too much fun for me not to.

Trying one of the mod trucks out - honestly because it's nice to have something new to take pictures of. This is the Wolf.

Been looking at getting SR for a while now on PS5 and yesterday, finally decided I would get it. All my current racing games are finished or getting boring so a nice change. I can see this game can last for a very very long time so looking forward to relaxing at a slow pace and dealing with different sorts and types of objectives.

I've finished up on Mudrunner over the last couple of days, so today started Snowrunner, physics seem pretty much the same, graphics are a nice evolution, nice to see some colour in Michigan, (that's not too say I didn't like the drab colours of MR, I did), the tutorial seemed to go on forever, but wow there's so much more to do! I've currently got the base game on GP. After building the bridge and unlocking the garage I'm currently unlocking waypoints on the first map. I can tell I'm gonna playing this for about 5 years, the scope of the game is enormous, very similar the Hitman World of Assassination trilogy, a never ending world. So pleased I started playing MR, it's like a whole new sub genre. I wonder if there will a third game ?

Edit: this is a fantastic game, fair play to the devs, the physics are even better, the game looks beautiful at times, so much more detail and the draw distance is massively improved. Some stunning sun sets/rises and this is just on the first location.
I like the fact there a variety of tasks to complete rather then get logs, take to logging station. The map looks like a Forza Horizon map with loads to do, difference being that it's not as dull as dishwater.
I'm impressed!!

Glad you're enjoying it @MrCrynox - they really have done a fine job in making it all interesting, something you'll notice more and more as you progress on into the DLC. Some shots from the Tennessee race circuit map

No mate I'm playing too and it is brilliant, it literary stopped me playing anything else for two weeks solid, can't remember the last time a game did that. Just about finished the first map of Michigan now onto the next one. Got stuck trying to get to the fisherman's submerged truck which is on the side of a river. Seems like the difficulty is already ramping !

If you think that's difficult. wait to you get to the Kola Peninsula!

But it's so beautiful! :)

Personally I think Amur is proving more difficult, mind you, I stopped playing that map around November due to having no heating at home for a while and concentrated on the warmer maps instead, so have since unlocked a few more trucks - ready for a return to Amur soon though.

Im not sure if anyone knows or if its possible can we turn off the dangerous water level pop up, or the saving logo that pops up every now and then. I love just driving around with no hud at all, those little pop ups just annoy me...

I am a tad confused. I have completed all the contracts, objectives and timed events in Michigan but it still says I have only completed 99%. Cannot see what is missing. I have nothing showing in any of the 4 locations. I have moved on to Alaska now as it has annoyed me enough to move on.

Are there any tasks, anyone can think of that, may be hidden that I have missed?

Maybe try using MapRunner to compare your maps and see if a job is missing in the undiscovered parts, or possibly an upgrade or something. It will show you where the watchtowers cover too, so if there is something outside of one that you missed it should be relatively easy to spot.

[EDIT: ignore this post] I can't recall if Michigan has this but some maps get extra missions once certain contracts are done. Though that percentage does imply that this might not be the case. Compare the https://www.maprunner.info/ site with what you have

Thanks for the info fellas. I did indeed find the missing contract and am now at 100% Michigan and Alaska and making my way through Taymyr. That area increases the difficulty somewhat (and am stuck again in the Quarry with Georesearch triangulation points but will use maprunner to help with those locations).

Recent Tennessee shots - not going well :)
