SPlit screen racing is for social Fun in your home or any other place, so yes it's a nice feature for GT5p..
But!!!
when driving split screen Racing, it's only a few who actually needs to know about the split times when racing, and the placement of the info in the middle of the screen, is removing the fun from driving, because it comes, just when you are trying to view your breaking point close to the corners, and its so desturbing, so my suggestion is to be able to shot them off, or you are able to place them some where els on the screen..
Another thing that would be able to do is split engine audio, meaning!
player 1 left side.
player 2 right side.
Ambiens / music in stereo..
Why!! well when driving Manual gear i'm using the engine sound to listing too, when changing gears..
and seperated engine sounds makes that much easier..

PS. F1 in splitscreen as it is now, is not Fun, you'll crash all the time, or you wont give it your best, because of the annoying Split times when going 300km ..
