Great to see Nico displaying a hint of powers and I bet her evil parents show up in S2 but I wonder whether they intend to do anything with Pearl as she is also a superhero in the comics. I'm kinda hoping not tbh.

Loved how the final episodes played out.
They did a great job of fulfilling some expectations and subverting others. We got a satisfying ending in Hero Or Menace? as the plots converged and tied a neat circular bow on everything in If This Be My Destiny... while setting up plenty for forthcoming episodes. I'm happy with this kind of pacing that comes with the writers' luxury of being able to plot multiple seasons in advance.

I don't think it's a spoiler to say Josh Keaton's cameo was the most unexpected of all. No wonder Uatu wants to stick around on this timeline. I hope Lonnie's miraculous transformation doesn't end up affecting his mind. I want every one of those bad choices he makes in the future to be his and his alone.

The die is cast!

Season two in action and three confirmed. Man, I feel as Tombstone digs deeper into the underworld he's going to eventually cross paths with one of the biggest figures in NYC. Can't wait for more cameos.

So glad Fiege is having all shows taking more cues from the comics.

If he does I want to see a similar retro look for him to Ock's but featuring purple trousers and a diamond topped cane.

Daredevil does not appear in the second episode.
Plenty of Matt though.

Looks like this'll be one of those "long movie split into parts" seasons rather than an episodic story but the low stakes/rubbish villain/no-one dies formula the MCU's detractors often complain about seems to be absent so far.

Hopefully this'll be three-for-three among recent Disney+ Marvel releases. They could do with a win judging by how the last movie was received from the sounds of things.

Maybe it's slightly less compelling than Netflix season one so far but there's plenty of evidence that the showrunners at least watched that show and have taken pains to make the sets match the originals.

I'm sure the haters will complain about the political allegories present in the narrative. Guess what? They're talking about you, bros.

Plus that Disney money will be good for any graphics that help said story telling. I’d like it to also help when other Defenders characters resurface.
