Spyware!!!

I downloaded Kazaa Media Desktop.

I just found out I had Gator and a bunch of other spy stuff.

Thanks to my trusty Ad Aware there HOPEFULLY deleted now.

My point: Don't download KAZAA!!!!!!!!!

I can't sit here and tell you to download Kazaa Lite instead because it is Kazaa without all the spyware crap included because it is illegal and against the AUP.

You honestly can't tell me you never knew KMD was bloated with spyware and trojans? And no, Ad-aware won't get rid of the spyware. You need to uninstall Kazaa and then run Ad-aware.

Ad Aware will fix it just fine... Except Kazaa won't run afterwards because you removed some of the spy stuff

I did and do. I just installed it and this was my FIRST encounter with spyware, usually my Ad Aware detects these files but this time it was like GAIN and stuff. I did uninstall kazaa before finding out.

I've known that kazza is load as hell with viruses, but i have spybot, virus shield, and i forget the other one.

Oh my god! I never would've realised this about 1 year ago if you hadn't told me...not to mention all the threads and topics that have already been made here, offering helpful advice! I guess that's why I downloaded Kazaa Lite! Thanks again.
