For those who do not have the "in car menu" but have a button for traction/abs/stability, you can turn all those options on or off in that menu. You can manually change your pits, or you can choose from a few set ups if you have them saved already, and a few more random things.
I dont know how else to change your pit strategy once you're racing, ive never seen anything pop up like it did in PC1

I didn't even know that exsisted until last night . I spent most of the qualy session getting that mapped and setting up pit strategies. I had three set and then went out on track to see how the mapping worked. Glad we had a long straight to check it out. It worked out really well for me during the race. I spent probably three laps scrolling through it on the straight and getting the strategy set that suited the race the best. Then pitted and got exactly what I had set up.
Fun night, was interesting every time Mexxi got mixed up with me and Mike, ya just never knew what was going to happen

Thanks man. I'll be honest, I was working from home yesterday and played for at least 3 hours just testing cars, setups, weather, fuel, etc.

The Toyota was the fastest out of the box for me, but Merc with a few tweaks was unbeatable. Easily a second and a half faster than the Porsche, which was the car I wanted to use.

A big thanks to @sgohsixthree for putting this one on and tolerating me messing up his qualifier.

So after it taking the whole freak'in day yesterday to DL the GTS beta, I go to try it out at lunch today and can't connect to servers!

Edit: Finally got on, me, Lobban, colts and a couple of guys from SNAIL we know. Did a race, not too bad. Off track graphics are good. First impressions are car sounds and physics not as good as PCars.

So after it taking the whole freak'in day yesterday to DL the GTS beta, I go to try it out at lunch today and can't connect to servers!

I just went to GameStop yesterday and ordered the game - I learned my lesson from watching everyone else try to D/L PCars2. I went for the Deluxe version because it was only $10 more,, so why not.
I'm really happy to hear about the patch. Sorry I missed the fun yesterday, I should be able to make it next week!

I can't change any settings or view friends info without the game crashing. I know these problems won't be around when the full game releases.

Next week I think most of us will be trying out GTS. The holdout @mexxifrieboy will probably be on pcars2 working on hitting the 2000 mark for those that don't get GTS.

I won't be getting GTS unless it blows PC2 out of the water. I only DL the beta because it was free.

Yea, I'm in the same boat. You guys can beta test the game for me.

If everyone moves to GTS I'll pick the game up. Otherwise, I hope this patch fixes a few things so I can start in on a career mode.

Wanted to share a little bit here too. Finally got the rig setup and went out and got a 4k to go with it.

I still need to run the wires, mount the ps4 and align things a bit, but its working.

I'm still waiting on a part from the vendor that attaches the pedals to the rig, but I was able to use some spare hardware I had in the garage to make it work. The pedals are a little loose because of it.

Once I get the missing pieces I'm going to do a full review and post it on the SRM website.

I picked up a Vizio E series. I was looking at some Sonys, I just couldnt justify the price difference for a TV that I will literally just play video games on a few hours a week.

The 4k is nice on the menus, but it actually made the game look a little more pixilated. I'm sure with other games it will look even better.

You probably already did, but check to see if the HDR feature is on in the game and the system. One of the patches for the game is supposed to increase the anti aliasing to smooth out the pixels.
