How then would you explain Codemasters & their last 2 F1 games that featured cars from the season that was still in progress?
Then what will be included in the Viper Pack? just the SRT Viper GTS? That's not a "pack" though.
I thought there was a rule that game developers weren't allowed to use cars from the current season in video games.
It's not really that, it's that manufacturers are extremely paranoid that their competition will hack the game files and learn about their cars by looking at the physics data for the game.
It's why GT lists most race cars as having "---" in most of their stats.

Just to point that out: Ferrari is, as opposed to other manufacturers involved in F1, in charge of its licensing. The other teams are handled by the F1 licensing board, whatever that's called.Also...F1 doesn't care. didn't GT5 have Ferrari's F1 car from that current season when it was released? And doesn't Test Drive Ferrari also have the current F1 car?
Just for the record the new Viper pack contains the (hidden) 2012 Challenger SRT8 392 which will be unlockable to FM4 owners who preorder Forza Horizon sometimes in July.
T10 has perfected the art of dangling a carrot in front of people. I don't wholly agree with the practice, but I'm too big of a car fan to avoid it...
anyone else having problems with the download after you download it then drive it. it feels weird
Just downloaded the Viper and went straight to Autovista for a look. Sexy ass car, however it has confirmed the suspicion of whether or not the black section of the rear of the car was carbon fiber or not, and it isn't. Can anybody justify as to how something like that was overlooked?
1. Clarkson hasn't done any of the add-on Autovistas except the 2012 M5.
2. The 2013 SRT Viper isn't even released to dealerships yet. It'll probably be a season or two before Top Gear reviews it, if they ever do, but Clarkson can't give his opinion on something that's not out yet.
I like the idea of making it easier to earn money. However, I would LOVE to see something like GT5 for FM5 where you have the main game which has places you can mine for cash, or you can do seasonal events and max out your credits within a half hour or so. Seriously, that is the best compromise. That's they best of both worlds. But...if I had to choose one...it'd be the easy way.
I downloaded this the other day but only found it in the Autovista. Its not in the dealerships to purchase for the game. I didnt realize it was only for AUtovista.
