well i was just wondering who here likes stand up comedy and who are some of your favorite comedians.

i love stand up comedy and some of my favorite ones are Pablo Francisco, Carlos Mencia, Zach Galifanakis, Jim Gaffigan, Dave Chapelle, Mitch Hedburg, Brain Regan, and The Sklar Brothers. thats all i can think of for now.

I love stand up comedy. Dane Cook and Jerry Seinfeld come to mind. There's more, I just don't know their names.

There's this one guy I saw one night on Conan O'Brien, he played the piano and said things like: I would read The Bible on the subway and once in a while yelled out, "Oh, bull****!"

I haven't seen an stand-up comedian who could best Steven Wright.... I could watch his act for days on end.

that was probaly zach galifinakis. on his comedy central half hour hes playing the piano and says "i have a dream. one day i will move to pakistan or india. and become a taxi driver."

i think fabio came on that show and killed conan and his side kick and he kept on saying " fab-io , fab-io,, or something like that

I went to see Dara O'Briain live, and was having difficulty breathing. I also saw Ed Byrne, who was really good too.

It's difficult to beat Billy Connolly though.

Oh yeah, Billy Connolly is great, he has a humour not many people nowadays get but I think he's great.

I've seen a few one hour specials that Dennis Miller did. They were hilarious though a few of the jokes flew straight past me. Carlin is a legend and I have his cds. Chris Rock has some good stuff too.

I like Dennis Miller. Some of the references are right over my head, but what I do get cracks me up.

Anyone remember the "He's so cute..." bit from his Black and White concert?

Ive put a whole lot of stand up albums on my mp3 player. Their great to listen to while your commuting, brightens up my mornings. My favorite stand up comedian is Chris Rock.

I like listening to stand-up when on long highway drives... especially if I'm a bit tired because they seem to keep me more alert than music.

Favorites:
- Chris Rock
- Dane Cook
- Eddie Murphy

I think I speak for sanity here when I say the following.

Dane Cook and his popularity + Talentless= Talentless :boggled: & :ill:.

Chapelle always gets me laughing, I have all his stand up DVD's, plus a few more recorded sessions that were never video taped.

I like Lisa Lampanelli. Oh, I know I shouldn’t—she’s the absolute epitome of crass—but I dare anybody with half a sense of humor to not laugh during one of her routines.
