Gosh, PD shouldn't have ever mentioned a car list above number of GT4. Instead of putting some time on remodelling tracks, making premium cars only, adding classic GT features they're wasting time with car models that are old like 10 years. They could have added at least 50 fantastic cars and few fan favourite GT classics instead of 800 cars that are outdated. And I still think that 450-500 cars would be enough for a long time. Premium car list is very balanced for a japanese game but when you add standards it loses balance. GT5 Prologue had a perfect car list and it only needed newly modeled premium models. But quantity over quality in car list for PD! At least the tracks were improved (except Deep Forest and Trial Mountain)!

You seem to misunderstand what I'm saying. I don't care if it goes, I just don't think its car worth worrying about how its graphically being portrayed in this game to be "an insult" to the real car. Its a meh car to me so I don't see how its worth as such. Do I think its terrible quality? Of course, I'm not a blind. I however don't feel how a car is modeled in a game is worth such judgement. If its well modeled, its well modeled. If its terrible, its terrible. Simple as that.

Not really what GT guy meant bud. He was saying the fact that it looks and has such low quality (even missing its interior), it's an insult to it. What I'm trying to say is in todays standards in quality, it's best to scrap it and rebuild it for another time, rather than keeping it and have it remain the way it is in GT, seen in page 103.

The '03 Aston Martin DB9 which is "standard" got a body kit painted or in carbon fiber, rear diffuser and custom wings!!

Considering its not at all different from the Premium 06' DB9, Not really a shock to see that. Same goes for the Standard Miatas and that interesting array of liveries each one has when they get a bodykit.

I have seen it and I know it looks terrible, I just didn't understand how it was considered an insult when the Manufacterer of said car appears to be not batting an eye about it. I'm not saying it should stay as it is.

That's very true. Than again, it's more insulting to those who loves said car than the manufacturer who built it for them to experience (well maybe some), as some may not be bothered with it since its in said game for them to drive (but no interior and the blocky edges

Wait, I'm confused, can someone break this down for me? Am I really seeing a standard car with body options? From what I gather, the '03 is a 'semi-premium' and it's body is exactly the same as the premium '06 which allows the '03 to have the same body mods as the '06?That begs a few questions; What is the point of the '03, and why doesn't it just have the interior from the '06 as well to make it a full premium? Are their others like this? Why don't we have body options for other semi-premiums? What goes on in the heads of the people who make these decisions?

GT has a plan and that plan is to make all of the cars premium first and then have for example , all the mx5 03' are going to be one car with all its trims together as one in the end .
Now for the people that don't like standards its easy dont drive them the cars are there for free and there gonna get updated for free if thats not a good deal ? Then what is ?
