@CoolColJ compare it to upgraded Commodore. It's big difference.
@dbarrade I don't think that any standard Lotus got an upgrade. Carlton was in GT5 and I loved it. Sadly it looks as bad as most of untouched standards.

I really appriciate the efforts made by PD on these touched up standards, but as a hardcore cockpit view player I won't really get to enjoy these updates. What we will get is the same old black sihoulettes, I wonder if PD will add in some "better then sihoulette" cockpits?

I really don't think the sounds are too far off on most of the cars tbh. I was watching Clarksons "Head to Head" DVD last night and when he revs a DB7 Vantage with the camera right next to the rear end it also has that "vacuum sound" and that's real life.

Add some echo on the tracks, so the sound can reverb, and you get yourself a new game!
IMO its the only thing that is missing, sound wise (in stock form though)

Just judging by the lack of visible polygons on the wheelarches, it was already a better standard than most. Could do with some 3D lights and panel game, though.
