Sports hard tires. Comfort tires may be a little loose online. Also I think we should take a week off to get the cars and regs in place.

JT you can't adjust TRANS with tuning prohibited. But hp can be limited. We had that issue when testing for my next series. We had to restrict hp so the cars wouldn't run out of top gear
 
Sorry guys. I think I'm done with Gran Turismo. I can't justify paying $100 to get the PS3 fixed without a real warranty and I wasn't planning on buying the PS4. I'll keep in touch through the forums and if I try the "hair dryer experiment" and get the PS3 working I'll be back.

I really enjoyed racing with you guys and hope to meet up on track again soon.

Hey, thanks for pointing that out, JT. I then dusted off my old disco moves and smoked poor Fletch in the dance off. Now my hip hurts.

Envy, I sure hope you do make it back. I think some of my best gt fun was when I was able to keep up and race with you. At times, it was a choreographed, high speed dance. Tires sqealing, our cars would come within inches, yet never touch. As the leaders dissapeared over the horizon.

Any tire is ok with me. Most of my real life experience is on snow tires.

You know... I was starting to get over the total disappointment of not being able to afford a beach vacation this year.... Until now..... thanks for the torture BK.

Ran some with the 86GT and BRZ at Laguna on CS and SH. No traction issues with CS but SH eliminates understeer=more fun! I got similar lap times with both cars. The Subie is sprung a bit softer. They're both super easy to drive. I'll probably go with the Scion though-it's LH drive.

This will be a fun series DJ. I'm good to go this week. No tuning needed just hit the track and drive!

I went to Tsukuba. Similar results. SH.
 
So its the Subaru BRZ, Scion FRS and the Toyota GT-86, correct? No tuning? We're just deciding on what tire? And starting this Thursday? I can never remembe, with no tuning, that goes for the transmission also correct?

I ran some laps last night at all three tracks. Car is outstanding on SH. But is very stable on CS. My vote is still SH.

DJ I think you should bump it to a 5 race series. This is a fun car to drive. Just my 2 cents.

The only thing you can adjust is brake bias. Car is very good right out of the box
 
5 race series it is! Im thinking rome and madrid as the other two tracks.

No tuning at all. Be careful with aero kits. Some may not work with the no tuning room in online lobbies.

Also if the Japanese version of the BRZ/FR-S is the same I see no issues with anybody using it.

Yeah. I didn't even notice I had an aero kit. Didn't let me in.
