By the looks of things, the Peugeot sadly may not make it through.. It's still a second off the pace - and I'm struggling to be able to find anyway to make it faster. :indiff:

Okey dude how many of each car are we allowed? I'll reserve a Lex for now if there's a limit:( And can you confirm what draft level we will be using? This too will determine my choice.:)

I think we're going to be using the 'Real' Slipstream setting - and there's a maximum of 4 per manufacturer! 👍

When are you planning to start this? Hopefully before the start of exams. If it goes towards that I'll be with limited appearances but Season 2 should be Summer ish so That'll be full time 👍

If anyone is interested, i'm hoping to be the works Nissan team, and that would mean I need a second driver, so i'm open to offers 👍

I'm hoping to get the Season started in about 4-5 weeks.. That means it'll be about the 9th March that things should be going! But you must remember that we have to fit a Media Day in on the Sunday before the first round and we still have testing to do!

I'll note down that you'd like to be in the Works Nissan Team.. Depending on how testing goes - I may go either the Nissan or Honda direction!

Scanny would you mind if we at least tried the "Weak Draft" setting one test evening? I honestly think this will help in potential overtaking and therefore more interesting races.💡 No pressure to keep it just asking we try it.👍

Results from testing at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

2000 Honda Accord Euro-R: 2:32.332
2003 Volvo S60 T5 Sport: 2:32.410
2002 Mazda Familia Sedan Sport: 2:32.558
1998 Alfa Romeo 156: 2:32.797
1998 Audi S4: 2:33.375
2001 Lexus IS300 Sport Cross: 2:33.422
1990 Nissan Primera 2.0Te: 2:33.578

I think so far, I'm happy with the Top 4 cars (Volvo, Mazda, Audi and Honda).. But I think we've now slowed the Nissan down way too much - and the Alfa and Lexus need a bit of a boost. As well as this - I think there's little hope for the Peugeot to be fair!

We'll try the lounge with that setting tomorrow - see how it affects lap times! 👍

Have we tried the merc 190 or citroen xantia?

We tried the 190E back in GT5 and we found it to be very dominant indeed... But we may take a look at it again if we cannot get the Peugeot to work!

Regarding the Citreon - there wasn't a Citron in the Super Touring Era was there (at least not to my knowledge)?!

Urm i did a 2,30 in the Lexus and a 2,31 with the Audi boost Lexus huh?

I'm interested in this, how long would the races last? Great idea BTW, mid to late 90's were great for BTCC.
If the races don't last too long, I would love to race for the Nissan team :)
Thanks in advance!

This is based on my personal lap times... Things might not always happen as other drivers may be more confident in RWDs than FWDs... Personally, I'm an FWD guy!

Would you like me to put your name down?

As a potential Lexus driver sure i'll take a boost then.:D

Well I've put down the Lexus in your name for now! You're able to change before the start of the Season if you want! :D
I'm surprised to be fair at how many are going for the Lexus!

I think some of the timings are a bit messed up? Do regulations checks last 1 hours and 5 minutes?

Well it depends if we have stubborn old farts (*cough cough*) in there who don't know where the Setup button is!
Nah, that's a typo.. I'll correct it in a minute 👍
