Interested in taking part in this series, However I'm completely new to GT6 (Although I've done a lot of online league racing over on Forza). Would you guys mind a GT6 noob joining in?

-Tom

Thanks Rolfwaffle.

Hopefully!

Would be awesome to take part, And a change of pace to the prototypes I'm used to driving on Forza. :)

Hey I also have spent some time in Forza doing league races! I decided to come back to GT once GT6 dropped and its not to difficult to re-adjust to it đź‘Ť

Welcome to GTPlanet, Maynard!
We allow all kinds of Driver Skill here; as long as it's clean (Touring Car Standard)! :D

Thanks Scania! :)

That's great, I'd like to reserve(?) a place in the series then.

Will start testing cars tomorrow and see what takes my fancy (Is there a limit on how many of each car can be enter?), Although being an Audi fan has me leaning towards that! :D

I'll send you a friend request on PSN when I get a chance as well.

-Tom

I've already put your name down Tom!
There's a maximum limit of 4 cars at the moment - and max of 2 drivers per team! đź‘Ť
Probably won't accept the Friend Request till late on tonight as a friend is picking me up and we're off down the pub! :P

Okay awesome! I'll have to keep track of what everyone else signs up for. :)

Not a problem, Off out myself :P . So won't get online to send it until tomorrow morning. :)

One question, Do I need a mic for this? (Lost mine, As I haven't used the ps3 in a while haha)

Look forward to racing with you guys. :)

Most GTPlanet events don't allow Mics in lobbies; and this is no exception.. Mainly because of my shocking Internet connection!

I'm probably gonna get on in a sec to do some TOCA testing and maybe get to know my Primera a little better as well.

Ah right okay. That saves me a bit of beer money then :P . Must say that's one of the things I found annoying with online league racing on Forza 4 (People talking during races! :@ ).

Saying that, I'm still down in the 1:34.6s at Nurburgring in the Megane!

If only we could have Forza damage, Gran Turismo physics, Forza Servers reliability, Forza Customizability and Premium cars for all cars in Gran Turismo then it'd be perfect!

With the cars, Is there a set build? Or is it just a case of building the car to power and weight requirements? (Sorry new to this!) :)

Nah, just tune them up fully and then use the Power Limiter and Ballast to set the car to the requirements! However, I recommend putting the ballast to the back in cars to give it nearer a 50:50 Weight Distribution and therefore better handling! đź‘Ť

Is 49.000 is good time round BHI(online)? Also does body ridigity benefit these cars? I know sometimes it can.

During testing; I got a 48.522 in the S60 - and that was at stock.. Other cars no longer have accurate times due to their weight changes!

On the note of regulations, the weights may be changed slightly in the next day or so! Stay tuned! đź‘Ť

So just add all of the race parts, And use the Power limiter & Ballast to rein it back? Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions, I'm not even in possession of my copy of the game yet. Waiting for the postman at the moment. :)
