The $1 or so doesn't matter to me. Its more intriguing in terms of impact on DLC. If your bundle is cheaper more people are likely to buy it and purchase content they might not otherwise buy. It's interesting they are not going that route.

I must say, I agree with you and Boxster also as that is what everyone logically expects, the first thing I did was look to see if there was a special discount for getting the Deluxe with Season Pass, I was disappointed that there wasn't, I then just bit the bullet and made the purchase.

In the end, the logic normally is that when something is bundled, there is a discount period.
