DS5 with triggers and left joystick for steering. Wheel is too cumbersome for my living room and I don't want to bother.

(plus I enjoy the "FFB" on triggers, I am surprised there is no more broadly pedal kit with FFB)

I'm now using steering wheel. Saturday was my birthday, and my brothers gifted me a G923, this is my first experience with a steering wheel so I kept crashing every time lol, it works really well on a PS5.

i use the DS, i am so used to using that.
My wife said to me that i should buy a wheel and a set-up but i declined. It takes up to much space in our appartment and i don't really want to learn and use it anyway after using the controller ever since game 1. I am used to using a controller and i like that it enables me to just pick up and start playing. a wheel and a set-up makes it a bit to serious for me...

That means then with Steering Wheel you not in advantage.
The biggest advantage I have found for myself with the steering wheel is not primarily faster driving (which is also the case), but precise driving.
With the controller, I wasn't able to convert a lot of overtaking manoeuvres, otherwise I would certainly have been in contact with the opponent.

With the steering wheel I "squeeze" through the narrowest gaps without touching the opponent's paintwork.

On circuits like the Nordschleife, this is literally worth its weight in gold.

Hi,

Wheel. I could not go back to a controller now.

IMHO its way smoother and significantly quicker, for me at least, now. It has also increased my enjoyment of the game.

Regards.

Ian.
