I went online today, and everything was really slow and lagging badly (the first time GT5's online has been slow for me.) GT life menus took ages to load and it took 5 minutes to load up a friend's open lobby menu (the menu after you select the orange circle that's by their "My lounge".
When I eventually got online everyone else seemed to be lagging badly, but it was probably just because it was being slow for me.
Basically if I'm still having these problems tomorrow, I'll try and join anyway, but either as the pace car (if i get a headset tomorrow), or I'll just watch over the race like a steward.
I think the problems are either because of a high number of people online after the latest update, or the snow that we're currently experiencing
here.
Yeah. I'm sure, with everyone downloading the update, it's probably going to be pretty slow tonight.

Another problem is people driving too aggresively. For example we were going into turn 2, I accidentally braked a little bit late, but the person following me decided to attempt to outbrake me anyway, causing about 5 cars to crash and receive damage.
Also, If you are a backmarker (or running slowly- for example, leaving the pits), do not suddenly change your line as I approach. If I am staying to the outside of the corner as I approach you and you are on the inside, do not quickly move up to let me through on the inside as soon as you see me coming. I will not have enough time to react because I am going nearly 200 mph around the outside of the corner and will probably hit you if you suddenly move up.
Both of those happened to me in the same race, resulting in me finishing over 2 laps down in a 5 lap race (pace lap = 6th lap).
Sorry about my lag TK42OnE, everything and everyone was running smooth on my end, and I seem to be smooth in Chad's videos too.
I'm pretty sure I'm the driver who got in the back of Joe and caused the accident. But, I'm certainly not blaming Joe... it's not as if he lagged on purposed.
If I can, I'll try and post the replay I took.
**edit** I have no idea how to get a replay off my Ps3.
