Hats off to all those getting gold with the Nismo. My excuse is that I don't like the car and don't much like the track, and I'm having too much fun trying to do Matterhorn with a sub-500PP car. Down to three hundredths off gold in the S2000 LM. Brilliant job by @WhoosierGirl in the Xsara.

That was my excuse in the beginning as I really don't care for the track nor do I have a lot of experience on it (its like one of 5 least used tracks by me) but sometimes you just have to take the bull by the horns. ;)

I'm not sure I've got your determination, Mitch. However....

So that's one of my excuses gone.

On to the race cars

Matterhorn - Rotenboden

464PP - 1:44.908 - Mazda Roadster Touring Car - RH - FR - 205bhp - 795kg - 3.87
482PP - 1:37.567 - Toyota Celica GT-Four Rally Car (ST 205)'95 - RH - 4WD - 298bhp - 1200kg - 4.02
497PP - 1:39.224 - Lotus Elise Race Car'96 - RH - MR - 173bhp - 645kg - 3.72
504PP - 1:37.003 - RE Amemiya RX7 GT300 Base Model'06 - RH - FR - 320bhp - 1100kg - 3.43
510PP - 1:34.810 - Subaru BRZ GT 300 Base Model'12 - RH - FR - 345bhp - 1150kg - 3.33

Well, with the new stups on race cars the cars on this track are all tricky to drive, especially the first section up to the tight righthander under the bridge.
Fun is not really included, did not more than 5 laps each with at least 10 or 12 restarts when missing the first section.

Decided to give the Nismo another shot today, improving slightly.

574PP - 1:32.866 - Nissan GT-R NISMO '14 - SS - 4WD - 591hp - 1720kg

I was up by about another .100 before losing most of it at the tight right-hander going into the main part of the track so I know a low 1'32.7xx is possible for me. Think I'm going to keep at it with this one since its the only event that really interests me atm. Really liking the car and the track is really starting to come together for me. Never really cared for the road course layout of Indy but now that I'm starting to get my lines down and such, its really not that bad. Still not one of my favorites, but its not bad. :P

Had another run with the Nismo GT-R today. :D

574PP - 1:32.450 - Nissan GT-R NISMO '14 - SS - 4WD - 591hp - 1720kg

That's ridiculously fast with a DS3!

I tried this one again, too. Used the G27 this time 👍. Need to fix the throttle pedal though, it keeps sticking every now and then.

I can post the replay later if anyone wants to see it...
