strange brake sound ( G27 )

Hi all !

I'm new here and never had any title from GT series, but am playing nearly every day different sim in my pc's ( Assetto corsa, rf, LFS etc...).

so my problem is about strange sound when i press the brake pedal on my g27, it's noisy and its look like you make contact with two metal plate and it sound whistle, it's happen only if i exceed 15 minute of playing.

maybe it's sound like this only when brake pedal being hot, but other pedals ( throttle, clutch ) dont have this problem, the brake pedal working perfectly but this noise annoy me a little bit.
I don't know if all G27 sound like that, any idea or help to fix this ?

( my wheel have only 1 year, but i purchased it from germany and am living in algeria so i dont know how to do if I need warranty to fix this problem ).

They are really easy to pull apart and pretty much all that's in them is a spring, I would suggest lubricating it and checking the pivot. Google opening up the pedals (plenty of guides) and just have a look. While you are in there get a GT-Eye spring to replace the brake spring, you won't regret it.

It's installation guide for the GTEYE. But works if you only want to see what's inside, or if you are going clean the inside G27 pedal box.

thx for responses and advices , I will open the pedal to see if something wrong.

I can't really get the custom spring, because where i live there is no way to import something from outside :/, so what I can do now is to fix this by myself.

Where do you live??? Mars, Jupiter the Moon.

Pretty sure that GTeye ships worldwide... Sometimes even to Algeria...

haha where i live ( Algeria ) is worst than mars , it's too long to explain but there's a millions of constraints for who want to buy from outside, you can't even change local money for euro or dollars because there's no Currency exchange.... and even if you can get some $$ and buy from outside you will have serious problem with 50%+ taxes that you need to pay to get your goods, if you can find them ofc...

Hi Zilul, Do you know anyone outside Algeria or someone who is travelling to Europe who may be able to accept delivery of the spring and bring it home for you?

no I dont know anyone personally even if there are plenty of algerian living in france or canada, but it's too risky to introduce something weird without authorisation.
