Stuck at 96.9

Hi guys,

I have spent some time this afternoon reading the faqs and searching the forum however I haven't managed to find the answer to my problem:

Basically I am currently at 96.96% percent completion, but according to the 100% completion guide (viewed on this forum) each race is worth around 0.17%, meaning there isn't enough races left to earn me 100% completion.

I have wom every race and championship, including all the manufacturers challenges and the endurance events, got all the licenses, and the only driving missions I have left to do are as follows:

11, 13, 14, 15, 18, 26 and 34.

I even printed out a list of every event from one of the guides and went through ticking off each one to double-check I hadn't missed anything.

Has anyone heard of this before? I realise it sounds like I have just forgotten to do a championship or such-like.

Thanks, R.

It does sound exactly like that - you're about 17 events short.

When you went through ticking each one off, did you check with your in-game diary that you'd actually WON each race?

Ignore licences (they don't count at all) and discount thoughts you may have regarding races done in B-spec (they count every bit as much as races done in A-Spec). It really does look as simple as missed races to me.

Not to sound large-skulled, but download my race database and check, fastidiously, against your in-game diary that you've won every race and have every possible prize car for winning every championship.

Thanks for your reply Famine. As you say it does seem that way. I will compare your database with my diary and let you know the results.

Cheers, R.

This is the old gold/bronze look the same on TV. You've got some 3rd-place finishes in a championship somewhere. Even if you win the championship on points, you have to go back and win the individual events that might have been less than spectacular during the series.
If you're going through and looking at trophies on the screen, you won't be able to tell 3rd from 1st. Really. I could wish that the trophy has a little number engraved. . . . .

He beat me to the punch. PAY EXTRA ATTENTION TO YOUR TROPHIES. Bronze looks even more like gold than in GT3. This has happened to different people multiple times. I also believe that trophies should have numbers engraved. (1 for first place, 2 for 2nd, and 3 for 3rd.)
