Stuff we need to know

Hey, just thought i would start this thread as a place to post little-known facts or tricks to GT2. Also would be useful for people who need to ask questions about the operation of the game .... NO TUNING/DRIVING/RACING RELATED QUERIES!!!!!

For example, I would like to know if anyone can tell me how to re-arrange/organize the cars in my garage. I would like to move them around but can't figure out how.

So I've got this BMW and it keeps hitting walls. Should i ad more toe or soemthing? ha ha kidding.

I think you highlite the car you want to go on TOP of your garage, then you press Start. It should now be up top. In GT2, that's all you can do is move them to the top. It's way more primitive than GT3 & 4, it takes a bit of planning if you want to categorize your garage a certain way. PAL version might be different.

DONT save too many test track times in machine test! If you have a certain version of GT2 and save too many times in test track, or one of those machine test courses the game deletes your garage!! I found out first hand, i had all the ebst cars for racing, drifting, looks, cars u can only win and all that, lost it all! Now im stuck with 2 mill and 0 cars! I think its like after saving 9 times it delets it.

I've lost 3 or 4 garages, I even lost a couple using the newest version! It hasn't happened to me for quite awhile, tho. One of my memory cards is okay but when you look at the machine test records, they're all screwy. ¬

In order to get 100% on the NTSC version in addition to all the manufacturer's cups you have to complete the "S" license, and run the Event Generator races.
They will be located in the third screen of Gran Turismo mode.
