Yep, all that's correct. I don't think there's a need to wait 10 days, though, as it seems to be always available. This race is tricky because the car is called the SVX. By the way, pretty interesting car. I love the canopy roof. 👍

Hey guys, thanks for that info, the lil sucker is pretty decent, but on to the next question, hopefully it will be ok to ask here rather than start another thread. the tuscan speed 6 and speed 12, i had previously won both of them, and sold them, not knowing i would need them for the TVR event, where can i go back to to win these again?

The SVX is a good meduim 4WD car, predessor to the Imp I would guess. I first came accorss it in GT and found that it stood well to the challenge of GVS 500.
As to the Speed 6 & 12, try searching the boards and there should be a thread that tells you which races to win to get both.

The ~591hp Convertible Cup race at Trial Mountain awards you a TVR Tuscan Speed 6 when if you win it. You only get one color (purple) if you win it. It's actually a great car, as the exhaust sound is wonderful when it's fully modified. Not a bad race car, if you can handle it. By the way, it's also the only Manufacturer's Event that requires a prize car.
As for the TVR Speed 12, you win it in the GT All-Stars event at Red Rock Valley (also purple only)...Ah, the days when you could win 550,000 credits in under 7 minutes.

ok quick question......i ran the 591 hp covertible cup at trial mountain and each of the 6 times i won it, i recieved the concept LM car ....thats far from the tuscan6, any ideas?

I guess pupik didn't remember the right race then. Races like that there's only one possible prize car to win.

You can win the Speed 12 in under 5 minutes if you're really good and use the Escudo. (the best I ever did was a 59.8something lap, but I couldn't do it again)

My times range around 1:06-:09 for GT500 Spec cars.
. That's still 1636 Crominum a second, which is pretty neat. Easy race unless you can't handle the car you're racing with or suck at the track. For a great resource, bookmark or print out Dave Connoy's Car List FAQ at http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/file/gran_turismo_2_cars_na.txtAlso, consider one of the prize listings. Both FAQ's are essential for me to check databases for basic auto statisticas without buying and turning them. They're a bit of a spoiler, however, so keep this in mind. 👍

The Pleiades are also called the M45, which is an Infiniti in the North American market.
In any case, this was the second-to-last race for me, other than the Suzuki Capucino [sic] Event which took about 20-30 more days to show up in the used lot.
