Suggestion how to fix dirty players online

Nope I was in a corner and well in the perimeters of the track, I think another
driver was glitching and that's why I got the penalty
Right, back to watching my favorite movie of all time "The Matrix" :)

I dont know why GT wont create a fix for the dirty racers who ram into people clearly to ruin a race. Even worse when they are lapped they continue the same spam ramming. Im sure they get slow down penalties which they ignore and just accumulate the penalties to the end of the race. I have a suggestion for a possible fix on this. Why not implement a strike system per race. I get it the first can be a mistake but if they do it twice or three times why not make the game end the race for them send them to the pits race over for them so they cant ram others. Then also make it so they cannot quit to go back to the lobby make them be bored to watch the remainder of the race from the pits. On top of that fine them the ingame credits, Im sure most people have the cars they want but with future dlc cars and freebies why not start taking away their credit so they cant buy anything and give them an epic penalty on driver rating. feel like its the only way theyll learn especially if they are taken out of the race and forced to watch from the pits everyone else without quitting so it teaches clean driving and respect if youre over taken
Seriously like you points as I have over and over again and even from the same guy...... I have mentioned it before but would like to add a suggestion for a drive through penalty to be included as well. Cheers - well said.

It would be really nice if the penalty they serve is accrued in time in the pits, and even if they quit and restart, the very next time the game comes on, they are again, face to face, with that same pit penalty scenario. Until it is served, they cannot race. That’ll teach em.

Also, a 1million fine would be AWESOME. Then, PD should do slow releases of dlc thatcuses in game creds. So if they Bork someone on track, it makes the game not fun, and they can’t buy the latest and greatest.

I fully agree! Ian - Shame to experience this. There is even one person showing live on Youtube the racing going on at Willow Spring right now - (Ford pick-up's) - that person has knocked me and others off the racetrack time after time just to ruin our game (NOT clean racing - and he's in the E-class of SR! Someone must just be proud of their personal BAD behaviour on the race-track...... Cheers - :) PS - I wish a stricter penalty system could be put in place.

I've got the best idea

If someone gets five orange SRs in one race, their PlayStation spontaneously combusts.

Isn't the point of racing beat everyone?
I think he was talking about the dirty drivers TG - I guess. :)

What about not giving penalties or losing sr for people who get rammed in the back and force offenders to immediately serve their penalty time by auto slow down. ?????

So, some people will master how to cause crash by braking in front of someone and to get an advantage like that.

I don’t think it would be possible without human help to tell when is a mistake or deliberate bad driving in most of the cases.

Once I hade some one massage me "sorry mate it was an accident" and I have to say it was enough to make up for being pushed out.

Another thing is when you being pushed out buy some one, and its you getting penalised AND THAT IS ANNOYING!!!

I suppose only thing can be done is PD will have to change the game name to Gran Turismo Bad Sport :)

Lot's of drivers are doing that!

Your first three lines I like mucho. Fully agree. Last one - lets give GTS a chance to work on it as so many complaints on this so I believe something better will happen.

I also wonder if it's necessary to make such group as you can see on the attached race together (regarding the SR's)

?

It would help if it could be organised better. I experienced one of the worse BUMPING "parties" - which I did not enjoy. SAD stuff. -I admit I got a little bit aggravated (just a human being thing sometimes I think....enough is enough thing....) - after too much from one certain guy..... - I decided to be a bad boy myself and take the driver off the track and get a RED S - I just couldn't care. Unfortunately it should just not be like that and I apologize for it.

Run longer races like Race C to avoid idiots. After a lap everything settles down.

I did about 10-12 Race A races yesterday and my SR came down from S to C. People just don't hang back. They push, hit and do everything to gain the position even in 12th position.

I lost it twice and just kaboomed the idiot. A guy rammed me to take 13th position from me, then i overtook him and formed a 10sec lead on the finish line. Thats how stupid people are.

One guy was braking intentionally in no braking zone,i was right behind him and i obviously hit him. What could i do? He later rammed me. What could i do?

A guy overtook 2 guys including me to gain 6th place in the most bumper car way possible and finished 8th coz pens. Such idiots are there.

People don't consider at all. If i have a car infront of me in the first lap where its pretty close,i have to brake when he brakes but guy behind me didn't think like that and bumped me. As he bumped me,i bumped the one in front. We both got off track and the Idiot gained 2 places. What could you do?

Nothing. This happened yesterday, everything of it and its a daily story.

Complete different experience in Race C though. Pure racing with the occasional idiots.

Just did the 20 lap race at Blue Moon Bay (nations cup) and it was probably the worst experience I've had in gt sport to date. Got rammed, got spun, spent the last 15 laps getting to 14th from 20th, all while dealing with lapped traffic that was trying to ram me.

I even noticed that one guy went through the pits and made up a position while doing so.

Absolute carnage, I'm glad I spent an hour improving my lap time.

I'm with you there Colin! I did that one tonight as well, bought myself a shiny new FT1 Gr.3 specially for it!

Go into the race with my newly awarded SR:A, and spend the whole 20 laps getting bumped and accidentally bumping others in weird situations. It seems many people simply can't manage high speed drafting races, and are too tempted to shunt others off into that nice big wall that slows them down.

back down to SR:B now, so now back to avoiding ovals and Gr.4, which always seem to be rough n tumble racing.

I agree with you there are tracks which will lower your dr if you not first or last and specially when people do fight for 10th or lower place like it’s they life depends on it

I’m just happy it’s not only me experiencing all this drama :)

We should make an experiment and organise online race to test penalty system as we could discuss what actually happened...

Something seriously needs changing. Oh sure, there will always be a few who say they have no problems but trust me - you are a minority. After yesterday's races I was SR A and had several blue A's in a row which meant I would no doubt soon be back to S. However, I entered today's Gr3 event 4 times and I'm now back to C!!! I reviewed my replays, not once did I strike a car through my own actions. I repeatedly had impacts to the rear end which ludicrously reduces your SR (who thought that is even remotely fair to implement?!) And on several occasions rams which were so hard resulted in my car smashing into others and then giving me the time penalty. On one occasion one of those hideous Toyota FT1s rammed me so hard on the hairpin that it caused me to take 2 others out and drop me from 4th to 13th. And to make it worse I had now accumulated 16 seconds worth of penalties dropping me to dead last upon finishing. This game has become a joke. The only fix they can do is abandon the whole DR/SR system. What does it offer anyway because even when I've been at A and S you still get dirty idiots.

Only had time for three races this evening, two at Miyabi which were very civilized, and the nation's cup race at Tokyo Outer loop. That last one was very much elbows out, but that's the kind of racing you get on a tight circuit with equal cars.
