Super gt series s1 // cancelled, read latest post

I'm unfortunately going to have to back out the league ... due to major back injury and possible surgery, I am too medicated to run in a straight line. Tried last night running cars I'm actually good with and kept wrecking. Super GT is my worst event, so you can imagine how much trouble I'd be. Sorry mates. On my less medicated days I may still hop in for a spot race or 2.

Ok, start time is in OP. Race starts at 7PM PST, Lounge opens at 6:00 PM PST for qualifying
 
I know a someone who want to race. He could be a step in for scarecrow while he´s gone. He´s not bad.

@ Everyone: This friday's race is 100% going to happen, 2 weeks of delay, school problems for me, all is solved, races will go as planned. Reserve drivers are a possibility because of people missing races and full lobby's are always wanted, so I am trying to find some guys with all 6 of these cars we are running.
 
I believe you are under north/west time zone american? But on friday it could be smart if write her on gt planet, for instants "..now its 2 hours until race#".Then i can follow the gtplanet clock. At the moment I`m racing 24 hours Nurnburgring. I pretty sure I`m finished until Friday, but unless , then I must drive under another psn name only that friday. We will see on friday. The other name is sankolsan.
 
Ok, I will post something 1 hr before, just check a timezone website or something, I am Pacific Standard Time, so do one of those things, lol.

Race Update: LOL to all that thought I would get in a fight at school again and get in trouble, RACE IS HAPPENING! :) lol, anyway, Lounge should be open in 10min after this post is sent, should be a great, CLEAN, race. anyway, qualifying and practice open in 10min^

I will probably be on in about 30 or 45 mins hopefully we get at least 10 people in the room tonight.
 
Google docs and OP updated, reserves now open probably up to 5 people, 2 spots open for now, if rabmo52, QuIkSt3Pz, and Nuffsaid miss/skip/whatever again, they are out.

Thanks, and good "clean" racing tonight, lol. I backed out due to lag, but tim and mudd had a great battle, and the 13 laps I was in myself and Sersjanten had a good race, only season 1 and there will be more to come.

Make sure to tell the others you moved the thread. And it was good after we got all the stupid issues with lag settled.

Yeah, I am telling the others, PM'd MONSTAR and am finding out what happened with him, rabmo and QuIkSt3pz idk about, didnt msg me, different for MONSTAR though, he wasn't online like they were, so its all good for him, but he didn't PM me which is weird...
 
So the race was good. Mudd got out front quick from dowhat giving him a boost. I just got a bad start and dropped to 5. It was a good battle with sets for third and then I got past him but since I was on mediums and mudd was on softs I could not make up any time. On lap 8 I made a big mistake by running high on the 2nd to last turn and spun into the wall giving me engine damage so I lost more time on mudd but sers went and pitted that lap so I didn't have much to worry about but losing time.

When I pitted on lap 10 I decided to put on softs because it was pointless to use mediums while everyone was on softs. I the gained a lot of time on mudd when he pitted and I got him to 2 seconds before lap 18 and then he decided to pit when I was planing to pit so we were in at the same time. On lap 22 I think, I was behind mudd and then I ran high again and just spun out again and by the time I was done I was 10 seconds behind and basically just gave up cause I had no chance of catching up to mudd again.

It was a good race once we got most of the stupid connection issues out of the way. It sucks for farkup because he had a good connection when he race was finished. I'm not so sure about softs anymore because at both deep forest and the pre season for grand valley they dominated and there is no point in using another tire. Anyway good job mudd he made mistakes and was very clean the whole race.

Yeah I'm not sure, we should consider limiting tires to med's and hards, just because it actually takes skill to drive with them, but since everyone will just use softs it doesn't really matter.

Edit: Google docs updated, OP updated, reserve spots will be added, my good friend pokerdemon666 may take a reserve spot depending on what's going on, due to high interest in GT-R's, I got a PM from MONSTAR1 and he just had a baby (LOL not him, but you know what I mean) and has got a lot of stuff going on, so I am going to put him on reserves, he said he will be able to take on a few races, but anyway opens up Xanavi GT-R spot.

3 spots left, all GT-R spots, I'm going to PM panman09, he is on my friend's list and definitly could fill a spot.

As for reserve spots, I don't think its too hard but depending on who misses each race, we could use a reserve for daytona road because in advance tim told me he can't make it, anyway will make announcement as soon as I know about panman09 and what car he is using, may be a delay :busy:

Not to happy with how it vent. My racing sucked a little bit, probably to tired, I can do better. But a nice experience. looking forward to next time.
 
:)The only way for me to race tonight, is under the psn Sankolsan, so I send you a friend request, and give me a respond as soon as possible,so I can decide staying up or not.👍
 
I don't think I'll show up as Saturdays we have lots of visitors to come see the baby, so I don't think I could commit to a full race. I might show up for a couple of races just see how it goes.Sorry about that guys.
