Totally off topic - (or maybe not!? Classic ‘stangs) but love these classic mini vs classic mustang races - would be a cool series - or a ‘one off’ night sometime - if the racing is as close as it is in real life - (ok maybe a little biased as a mini (newer generation) owner)

Yea im not sure how to put it together to make it as competitve as it appears - mustang needs the power advantage and the mini needs the cornering advantage.....anyway not sure how i could help - might just be a night of sh$ts and giggles if nothing else -

It's highly dependent on track choice as well. Can't have anything with too long of a straight or the Mini will never make it up in the twisty bits. Brand Hatch Indy would be great.

I think I will officially pick drummer1979 As my rival. I feel we always end up around each other at some point of the race until I decide to send it and get stuck in the sand.

I also wanna say I felt a bit used up last night. Not gonna point any fingers cause I know I go for spots I shouldn’t always go for. I don’t mind being rubbed on bumped or even moved....just don’t leave me in the wall. I know I got razor real good once and I pulled over and waited for him to catch back up. There were a few incidents in that last race where I feel I wasnt given the same courtesy. All good. I’m not putting targets on anyone. I feel that ARL and that track specifically amp up the contact. Just wish y’all didn’t leave me In the wall so many times!!!!!

Thank y'all for allowing me to butt into your races. I don't know if I'll run any others, partly due to homelife and partly due to how poorly my driving was, even when running alone I was still losing time to the leaders with boost on. Thank you for the chance again.

I had a blast last night. The racing was certainly “aggressive” but i wasn’t offended by it. I’m usually in the back of the pack racing alone; if it wasn’t for the party chat to hear the other drivers on some nights, i would think i was hotlapping by myself. But last night there was fun racing to be had throughout.

I think its going to be a short-term memory season, so much fun but so much paint trading. Watching it back I had my race ruined a couple times, but gave out some lumps as well. (Razor)

Just as a blanket statement, I wont be complaining about driving standards this season, the combo of cars and tracks and the mayhem it kicks up means its not really proper to judge any of your skill levels or intentions in such a context. More fun to just have fun, not be upset.

I don't know if that will make you punt me more, but the filing cabinet with my IR forms is officially locked.

You got it @BPeacock2727. This Canuck's taking the mittens off and limiting my apologies to 5 a night, and that's just for the first heat. You can expect unlimited "shucks" and "drats" for the remainder of each night. I'm back in front of my rig Aug 18th and hope to get in enough practice for the 19th. My list of rivals who regularly beat me is also long and I'll have to give it some thought, too much sailing and beer floats to plan racing.
