I would like to get everyone to do a formation lap to start. Maybe we will practice it a bit b4 the races start to get the hang of it.
Now that sounds interesting. Either that or a drunken sh$t show. Guess we’ll find out. ;)

TO back this, everybody it might be a good idea to be in the voice chat tonight even if you don't have a mic so Punk can give info on the fly and make it easier for everybody.

Also, DavePunk. The player on the pole controls the formation lap speed correct?

Yes to a certain extent. We will establish a nice lap speed (I'm thinking 85mph) for the leader to maintain during the formation lap. Everyone else's job will be to form up in 2 rows behind the leader. The leader will then start the race when he crosses the start finish line to start lap 2. The remainder of the field should not accelerate to start the race until the car ahead of them has started to accelerate.

Having done a poor job of pole sitter/pace setter back in Jan/Feb (Curse "reverse grid" races), here are my two cents: 1) Have a steward (@PApunk924?) monitor the grid formation and call (party chat) if it will be green next time across start/finish. 2) Consider a 2nd formation lap, called by steward (party chat), in case people have a hard time forming up in one short lap 3) Pole sitter calls their start over party chat so 16th place knows when the lights have gone green. Maybe even a "Three. Two. One. Go. Go. Go." 4) 85 mph = 157.42 km/h. 5) Joining a party chat without a mic still allows you to hear the audio through, however you hear audio. Maybe that was more than two cents, but hey they're Canadian cents, you get more for your money.

I would also suggest that odd grid numbers are on left, inside line, and evens right, outside line.

I want to race, obviously, but I could jump on the 'nade and run race control for start, call green so its even?

EDIT: spectating

I'm hoping there's someone who can monitor the grid formation while driving (NOT ME!) and the pole sitter just stays @157.42 km/h and calls GO when they cross S/F and put the hammer down. No need for anyone to miss this merde show.

Hahahaa I may be a liability out there anyway, so Im sure theres a few thatd rather have me locked in the stewards room but in all seriousness I dont mind if thatll make it better/more even
