So i'm assuming everybody has PSN up and running now so I just wanted to let everybody know I will be adjusting the calender of events tomorrow. I'm out of town celebrating a bday party today.

I'll email everybody and post here when the necessary changes are made.

One quick question: Should we hold the season finale this friday? Let me know.
 
Friday should be enough time for PSN issues to be worked out. I'll host some open lobby this week when I can, so join in for some practice runs.
 
I have also updated the points system for season 2. check out the basic info>Points system thread to learn more.
 
Hey, what is everybody running on this event? I'm averaging around 4:23ish. I need some baseline numbers to determine whether that is fast or slow LOL
 
I'm running 4:19/4:20's with an occasional dip into the 4:18's with the BMW. I can't do nearly as well with either of the other cars.

That's running in daylight also, haven't tested in the dark yet.

4.18 is the absolute fastest i have done but I think roadrash is runing 4.13ish!!! WTF LOL

Wow.... 4:13 :drool: I have only ran about 10 laps so I figured getting 4:15/4:16 would be doable, but I sure don't see any 4:13's in my future. :ill:


BTW: are you still running with the start time set at 15:00 and time progression at 20? I want to run some laps in the dark so I know what to expect.

Well roadrash and snoopy had it figured out. I'm not sure what exactly the time progression was but we should be doing some laps in the dark for sure.

Set time change to 10 and start race at 12 or 3 and that should work.

DJ, you may want to set the time to 9 when the room is open for qualifying. Otherwise the race may start at night. Or reset the track for qualifying and time at 12. Think that should work.
 
Just a quick reminder for tonights race event. Penalties will be OFF but we highly encourage drivers to drive cleanly. Try your hardest to not cut through any of the chicanes and please do not cut through the large clearing at the end of the course on the way to the straight (after the ford chicanes).

I'm counting on everybody to race cleanly. I'm not going out of my way to review each racers laps but while taking pics and logging fast laps if I notice a racer blatantly cutting the big corners I will DQ them.

Aside from that I can't wait to race online once again and hopes everybody has a great time. Oh and FYI last time we had a nearly full room so aside from our regular members it is first come first serve.
 
Shucks. My cursor froze during our second qualifying session, thought it'd unfreeze when the race started. Well it didn't (just stayed in the screen with a list of peoples names etc) so I had to drop out. Sorry guys, less people means less credits.
 
Well got disconnected again... Wasn't running that well anyways (midpack). Probably knocked off of a podium in the championship points. Better luck next season.
 
Man that sucks grayfox. At least your not the only one that got booted somehow. NCR and cheez weren't able to stick. I'll have the final points up sometime this weekend along with pics.

I want to once again thank everyone that participated. You guys made this league great and I really appreciate each of you guys. I hope to see all of you guys for season two which begins next friday.
 
DJ, great job hosting the series. I sent you a gift. Enjoy.

As for the race, I could have fought for 2nd if I did not spin out so much. Had a good fight with JT and Dangit for a couple of laps before worn tires got the best of me. A shame as I like how my M5 was handling.
 
Nice running with you guys last night. Yeah, i got disconnected. I was hoping to finish up, oh well. Looking forward to the coming season.
 
First time I've had fastest lap, but I probably cut a few corners ha.

that is exactly what i'm planning to do LOL. I'm not sure when i'll put up the new thread though...possible monday morning. I'm gonna be busy today. I've been up since 5am and have been working on the league stuff till just now and got real life stuff to do too LOL.

Also anytime I can get a pic of you wrecking i gotta take it!

Haha I am pretty sure I have spun every race at least once.

By the way, deep forest reverse and grand valley reverse are both good tracks that we should fit in.
 
That was a really great first season, DJ. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we really appreciate all your hard work. And, as always, great pics.

I think I'm going to avoid driving at night for awhile.
