Like I said before, I am happy to have found this forum. Although I still have to have my first online race with one of you, It allready has given me lots of useful hints and tips, and hope for the future.

Yeah we still didn't bumped(no pun intended,don't be scared )each other online...although I haven't played much last few days.But hit me a PSN invite and we'll hook up for some racing(we can go with default setups).👍
I just hope that You're a late night runner as I am...I rarely go online before 12.00pm...

I hear what you say about the upcoming F1 2010, let's hope we are wrong.

As Codemasters moved onto the PS3, there must have been some big change of philosophy or something; changing their target market. For 10 years, they made arguably the best, most pure and realistic PS racing games (I don't class the older GTs as 'Racing games' - more 'Driving Games' to me). Then suddenly that GRID rubbish is released. So it's going to be more of the same, or at least I don't think Codemasters will return to their previous philosophy.

I saw a very concerning clip of F1 2010; car rounds a corner, hits a bump mid corner, rotates into a slide, and the rotation just stops itself with no counter-steer (just like Shift). So I'm pretty sure the physics will be dumbed down.

It depends, Usually after 21.00, but in the weekends It can be a little later. I still have to think twice when It comes to time-difference, although Portugal and Holland should be fine, America is something else. I have actually only added one GTplanet member yet, will add a few more, that might help. I don't know your personal situations, but I guess we are all busy with our dayjobs and maybe family life and other hobbies too. Now I realise adding PSN's increases the chance we meet on track. See you guys there.

If F1 2010 sucks, we still could play F1CE, which I think is a rather good game. And as a fan of SSV8NC, I am confident WRC will be oke.

What I really want is a Le Mans / American Le Mans style game with full GT & Prototype class cars, with the graphics of GT5, the physics and FFB from SCC and the options and race experience from SSV8NC. But I have my doubts if we'll ever see such a game on consoles.
