I used a brand new Ford GT '05, Midnight Blue Clearcoat Metallic.

Mods: Oil Change + racing medium tires + all NA engine mods.

Drove very nicely, didn't have much trouble that I remember.

The color is what makes the difference :dopey:
Err... you're limited to sports tyres in the Supercar Festival.

I used a tuned Viper for the festival. Wasn't too much trouble, except for the fact it handles like **** with sports tyres. 👎

Humm, that was from my notes - let me slip the game in and see what the current setup on the car is - I last used it for the festival.

Tires = Sports, Medium (S2) - in fact the only tires that I have for the car.

My notes are wrong! My bad. :grumpy:

Still was a nice drive - and the color helped 💡

IMO heavy cars overload sport tires, ya gotta stick with light cars to have any grip on green. It's like if you put S3 on a XJ220 or a Aston the CPU inflated them to 20 PSI. :P

how about something really difficult and challenging?
like destroying this cup with my 71 Cuda, my 70 charger and my 79 GNX?

Im on it right now. Just passed Infineon race in my GNX. Man that thing rocks.

and yeah, I spent a fortune on each of those cars, but I was gonna, anyway. they are my battle cars. Also destroyed the "ricer (er, tuner) car cup" with the cuda and charger.

That rocks my buddy has a shaker hood vitamin-C orange 440-6 & 3 other collectable Mopars & is finally interested in GT since his cars got included. You are killing the AI with LEAF SPRINGS and TORSION BARS you should be proud.

I used a 05 Ford GT and the BMW M3 GTR. I found the GTR understeered quite a bit and the gear change took too damned long. The GT on the other hand was just about perfect, very powerful, handles well and has a decent gear change. Plus the White GT with blue stripes looks better than the M3-GTR.

REALLY?
damn. Could you post , or even better, private send me, some photos of your friend's cars? I am deep into mopars and im hunting for a 70 coronet myself to build it into a serious car (600 hp is the plan) but I love the cars of the era, specially mopars, so Id be HAPPY to get pics.

and yeah, and you literally destroy them. with the GNX I was 3 seconds ahead of the Cien in the exotic car battle. with the charger, I was 3 seconds ahead of the Zonda. And yeah I know that "with money everything can run strong" but beating a zonda in Seoul or Infineon takes more than horsepower. everyone should try it, specially with the cuda, it's brakes are great. The charger handles good, but the brakes are it's problem. I havent hot-rodded the superbird nor the Chevelle because they gave them to me in awful colours. I jusr re-gained a sub-lime Superbird, so that car will receive all the damn mods. The chevelle, I still try to win a cool colour.

PM me your email addy & I'll take some pics next time I visit. He has 3 working 'cudas & a Super Bee chassis getting painted, should be back in 2-3 weeks. All NA 440 wedges. No Hemis, too much $$$ His buddy has a caged Valiant with a 440 shoehorned in there. Pizza cutters up front & 315's in the rear. Sicko.

Hehe, I've done the Supercar Festival with exact the same car. Ford GT '05, Midnight Blue, with the white (or silver) stripes. But I didn't upgrade my GT one bit. I raced it stock, and I won everything. The City courses being the best, nice races I had there.

Best car for Dream Car Championship:
Think the Ford GT LM Spec II '04 Race Car, at least, I used this car, and it was a very good one. Won the Test Course race in a close battle with the other Ford GT '04 LM Race Car.:)

Wanna know something really weird. Yesterday I won the Supercar Festival using a....Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car!!!
I really don't understand how this car was allowed, since it is a prototype car, but it was. I had a stage 4 Turbo on it and a full LSD. That was just about the only thing I could still buy for it, the rest was already on it.
I was able to win all races in 1 try with this car, altough sometimes it was pretty close. That had more to do with my crappy driving than with the car though :dopey:

I'm in the middle of this at the moment using a mid tuned (Hp wise) TVR Cerbera Speed Six. I struggled a bit at Seoul because I was running on S2's and the front's didn't heat up until lap 8 but putting S3's on her made a vast difference at Fuji.

I tried to use the Speed 12 (unmodified in the way that I mean it rather than PD's interpretation) but they'd crippled it so badly it was a no-go.

So I punished PD by using a car with only one Speed Six engine rather than two (bet that hurt the big, nasty, Japanese Car, PR company ... oops, software house, sorry).

I done the supercar festival with a BMW M5 fully tuned, was a killer on the brakes with the sports tyres but was good races tho :)

Honestly, I think the supercars are a bit of a disappointment in this game. The majority of them handle almost nowhere compared to a race car, that's even considering that supercars are usually much more capable, much more faster, maybe even much more exotic than the cars most of us drive. If there is one supercar that hasn't been a real letdown, it's the Dodge Viper SRT10. You need a production car, so that's why the Cadillac Cien couldn't be counted in this series. Or if you think it SHOULD be allowed, name me one person who owns a Cadillac Cien. Thought so. I believe I used the Callaway C12 in my racing in this series. I don't really remember.
Unless you know what you're doing with that Cizeta (that Ferrari/Lamborghini looking car that can't perform like either one), sell the prize car immediately. In fact, I was thinking about re-running the series and seeing if I can make it more raceable and less "crapable." I hope to get one in red, since it has that Ferrari look to it, but last time, I got one in white. It looks like it has potential, so maybe I didn't give it much of a chance. In fact, it's so bad that even the AI messes up with it. But if you want the real things, you'd better hope PD gets the license deals in GT5.

Other than that, either the Callaway C12 or the Dodge Viper GTS-R. Both are front-engined, so you get more pull into the corners.
