Suzuka circuit problems

I have no idea why I have so many problems with gr1 races in Suzuka circuit. I’m using the TS3030 Hybrid 12 and hoped this would be okay . My settings are like this from top to bottom:

Racing hard tyres
BHA 60/70
ARB 5/5
DR 30/30
DAMP RATIO 40/35
NF 4.00/4.00
NCA 3.5/3.0
TA 0.10/0.20

IT 5
AS 10
BS 5

Downforce 1280/2000

Is my car the problem or the car setup ?
 
FWIW, you need to give better/more information in order to get useful help. "So many problems" is not really meaningful to most people. For instance: What are the specific problems? What are your lap times? What are your lap times with the default setup?
I hope that supplying this information will help someone to help you.
For the record, I suck at Group 1.

I usually have cornering issues
 
I would use racing soft tyres and lower the downforce to 1075 / 1650 or something like that.
With that the car to me seems fine.
Reduced downforce for less fuel and more speed, there will always be a point where speed and traction cross and this requires trying out and experiment with it.

Tyres are the main contribution to traction on acceleration oversteer, and if they dont provide sufficient traction then you can either try to support them with a different suspension setup (complicated) or mechanically reduce the power to the axle with the use of any sort of LSD (not as complicated, but coming with tradeoffs on the other side), or reduce torque with the help of different gear ratios or a higher gear (not complicated at all). Or you try do straigthen the car before accelerating hard.

But actually I have a feeling you are trying to race over your current skill level in this case, so practice would be my no1 advice.

Gr.1 and Formula cars are probably the hardest cars in the game, for me, to be fast in. They are so counterintuitive to every normal car in the game. Where you need to use brakes, downshift and throttle modulation to take the turn in a normal car you just go full throttle through the turn in Gr.1 and let the tires and downforce keep you planted. If you don’t do that you lose 3-5 seconds per lap off your times in a Gr.1 car.

Having the trust in the car that it will hold just takes testing and patience. Do a lap like you normally would then try taking some of the faster turns without using the brakes at all. Maybe just try a little lift at the start of the turn to get the front end to bite then go back on the throttle. If the car holds, try it again with the throttle pinned the whole time. You just need to test the car and your own reflexes. Going this fast through the turns feels really strange when you are used to braking, shifting and accelerating out of the turns. Gr.1 and Formula cars pretty much eat up the turns so long as you can keep up with them.

One of the best things about the Red Bull DLC in GT6 is that it was very good training for this kind of driving. One of the best ways of getting credits, too!
