Are you kidding?
This stems from an arguement between Jared and myself.
The Suzuki is clearly the better looking.

It's supposed to go slow Danny, it's to relieve Japan's car-congestion problem. In fact, I'd be so bold as to say it does it job a lot better than the Wagon R!

The wagon R sold pretty good if I remember, I've seen a lots of them everywhere.
But I'd rather drive rusty nails into my head than be associated with either of the above ;)

The only way a Wagon is breaking under 13s to 62mph is if someone drops it off the Matterhorn. q.v. Sundays (Month of).

Stats from Parker's:
Suzuki Wagon R
Engine 996cc/4cyl (1171cc 4cyl)
Power Output 64hp (68hp)
Maximum speed (mph) 87mph (87mph)
0-62mph (seconds) 16.9s (16.9s)
Litres / 100KM (combined) 6.00 (5.90)
Miles per gallon (MPG) (combined) 47.1 (47.9)

(figures in parentheses for the 1.2)

Daihatsu Move
Engine 847cc/3cyl
Power Output 42hp
Maximum speed (mph) 81
0-62mph (seconds) 19.1
Litres / 100KM (combined) 5.90
Miles per gallon (MPG) (combined) 47.1

So, in summary, the Move - which IS a Kei car (the Wagon R has too powerful an engine, at least in its European market guises) - contrives to be just over 2 seconds slower to 62mph compared to the 57% MORE powerful Wagon R, but the Wagon R manages a better/similar fuel economy on larger capacity engines with more cylinders.

Hmm. So to sum that up, the Wagon R is better than any other car ever made in the entirity of time?

I see where you're coming from:)

That'd be like trying to find out which is the better singer between Ashlee and Jessica, or which one hurts less between getting your eyes poked in or your balls kicked...

They both suck equally, and are generally as painful. :P Taxis and buses might be a sensible option instead.

I'd take a Wagon R over anything other than a Bentley.
In what other car can you wear a top hat and still have headroom? (Apart from the *shudder* Daihatsu Move*)

So our argument actually holds water and isn't close-worthy?

Sweet! :)👍

Can't I compare Ashlee and Jessica Simpson in looks and not voice, PR? Jessica would win in a second. Damn you. :irked:

This whole argument is irrelevant anyway, because I'm a Micra man.

Now why couldn't they put THAT in GT? That ladies and gentlemen, is seks on wheels.... Damn you PD... :grumpy:

To the tune of "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer"

"All of the other kei cars, used to laugh and call him names.
They wouldn't let poor Suzuki Wagon R, join in any Kei car games

The one stormy Xmas eve, Famine came to say-
Suzuki Wagon R with your engine so big, won't you...erm...help me roast this pig(!?)"

No. It's a dumbass, £70,000, one-off, copied from sister company Renault, pulsating haemorrhoid.

Vauxhall Agila, Nissan Cube, Toyota Scion B, Renault Kangoo, every convertible ever made and the Creepy Coupé, from Wacky Races.

Ultrabeat - No. The mmR Cup Car is an FF. The Micra Concept above is, in the mould of Nissan's sister company's Renaultsport Clio V6, a 250hp MR.

I suppose. Although when hybriding comes to GT4, you could give one the Renault's drivetrain.

*coughs*
